Description

Welcome to the habitat Cisowe Wzgórze, located among the green hills, meadows, forests and lakes of northern Suwalszczyzna The origins of Cisowe Wzgórze date back to 1948. The then owners erected several wooden buildings forming a typical Suwałki homestead. For years they lived peacefully among the green hills and forests, and the only thing that drowned out the surrounding silence was the clatter of storks and the sound of horseshoes being forged from a nearby smithy. Sunday afternoons the host, an extremely musically, entertained himself and his many friends by playing the violin, and since he also made excellent moonshine there was a lot going on here ... And time passed .. At the turn of the century the homestead found a new owner. After a three-year renovation, the habitat was created, providing a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation. Although the houses "on Cisowy Wzgórze" have been equipped with modern amenities, and only stone outlines are left of the smithy - you can still hear fiddles and the neighing of horses in the gusts of autumn wind. Don't believe it? Come and see for yourself. The homestead counts 2 charming houses and 2 apartments, with a total capacity of up to 20 people. Cottage of the Morning Breeze - From the threshold, a cozy room with a fireplace, kitchenette and bathroom. Upstairs, a four-bedroom (one double bed, two single beds). For spring breakfast we invite you to the terrace with a green view. Bird Concert House - has an open, high space and a mezzanine. You will find a kitchenette snuggled into the living room and a bathroom on the first floor. Two bedrooms, for a total of 4 people lull you to sleep (one 2-person bed, two 1-person beds). Not to miss a single ray of sunshine, the house has two terraces. House of Misty Mornings - is a white cottage, with charming blue shutters. Downstairs there is a living room with a kitchenette and a bathroom. And in the attic there are 2 cozy bedrooms (one double bed, two single beds). For morning coffee we invite you to the covered terrace. Restless Shutters Cottage - on the first floor a kitchenette and living room, with a summer-smelling wood fireplace, and a bathroom. The sleeping attic is prepared for 4 people (one double bed, two single beds). Sit comfortably on the porch with a book and a compote of fresh apples. Enjoy barbecues and evening bonfires under the starry sky. Take advantage of every inch of our vast green grounds. A nap on a blanket, morning yoga on the grass, making garlands of milkweed - could there be anything more pleasant? What will you eat? You can prepare your own meals, as you have fully equipped kitchens in the cabins. In addition, you can treat yourself to what you find in our garden, such as delicious raspberries. Cisowe Wzgórze is an absolutely magical place in Podlasie, which enchanted me from the first moment. It is a place where nature meets history, creating a unique charm. Walking around Cisowy Wzgórze, one feels as if time stood still here. The trees that surround the place seem to convey their wisdom and tranquility. This is the perfect place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and recharge your batteries. The views of the surrounding fields and forests are breathtaking, especially at sunrise or sunset. It is an ideal place for nature photography enthusiasts. The history of the place is also fascinating. Visiting Yew Hill, I felt as if I had moved to another world, where tranquility, natural beauty and history come together in one magical place. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an unforgettable experience and wants to discover the charm of Podlasie.

We had a wonderful experience at the Cisowe Wzgorze. This is the perfect place to getaway from the city and spend time in the nature. Beautiful cottage design everywhere. The vintage aesthetics were awesome. Magical scenery around with a terrace. In the house you will find all equipment which you need. Property is clean and has a fantastic old time charm. Owners Ania & Pawel are extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Harry, owners dog made our stay more happy and funny. Free rental bikes, many places to do bbq and bonfire. All was perfect for us! We will recommend your place to everyone and will return for sure! Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay. Sandra & Pawel

Our story began a few years ago, but the history of Yew Hill even earlier.... some 20 years ago. It was then that Ania found an ad for the sale of an old wooden house in the Suwałki region. She decided to fulfill her dream and buy it. Then, with her own efforts, she brought the ruin to order. Little by little, she soon erected another house next door. And just then, quite by chance in her life appeared me. an old acquaintance from childhood. Love was born very quickly and so we are in it for another year, expanding our oasis of peace in the Suwalki region. In the meantime, we bake bread, take walks and chase around the garden with our dog, who is a very important member of the family.
