To quote Voltaire or, if you prefer, Superman \u2013 With great power, comes great responsibility<\/em>. We hear about climate change and the ecological crisis everywhere, but there are not so many voices about what to do about it. Unfortunately, we will not write to you that we have discovered the secret of how to save the Planet, or that from today we will not magically pollute the environment. But we will tell you about how we understand our responsibility, why we decided to join the organization. 1% for the Planet <\/strong>and how every day we try to be that one percent better for Nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Do you know what our biggest dream is?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So that our children can swim in a clean lake, see a seal on the Baltic Sea and build a hut out of sticks in the countryside. So that each of us has the opportunity to escape to the mountains, jump on a bike over Biebrza or drink coffee on a terrace in the forest and simply relax as we like, surrounded by Nature. Instead of cutting down forests, we want to plant them, instead of poisoning seas, lakes and rivers in the name of development - invest in their purification, protect mountains from being trampled and beaches from destruction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And since it is natural for us to take care of what is important, we join<\/strong> 1% for the Planet<\/strong> \u2014 an international organization connecting business with foundations and organizations working for environmental protection. As a part of it, every year we will donate 1 percent of our income to local, verified initiatives that care for the nature around us<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is 1% for the Planet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1% for the Planet to a global non-profit organization that encourages businesses and individuals to support environmental organizations<\/strong>. Members commit to donating at least 1% of their annual revenue to environmental foundations and organizations. The idea was started by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies, in 2002. The goal is to connect businesses and individuals with nonprofits who work together to fund a variety of environmental projects aimed at ensuring a better future for the planet through effective conservation and sustainable management of natural resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
