We are Monia and Michał – a yoga instructor and an author. During the pandemic, we traveled for a year in our vintage van through southern Europe, to return to Poland and build the dream home we envisioned during our travels. This is how our year-round cottage – Mała Ziemia – came to be. It is perfectly created for you, as we designed it to be an ideal place for us as well. When creating the cottage, design was the most important aspect for us. We tried to choose furniture and accessories that are unique, so that just looking at them brings joy, and using them feels good. We wanted the cottage to be beautiful but also well-planned. It is small and modest, but you will definitely breathe space here and feel harmony. A year of living in a camper taught us minimalism and made us realize that many of the things that surround us daily are actually unnecessary. Therefore, we limited the number of items to a minimum. Only the essentials remain. Just the coolest things. The cottage breathes creativity. Beautiful and engaging albums will take you on a journey through various unconventional themes. Meanwhile, engaging games and unique accessories will awaken your childlike curiosity. We also value peace, not just the peace around us. Inner peace and introspection are equally important to us. That’s why we created a selection of items for you that will assist you in meditation, yoga, or simply in reflecting on who and what you are. In our modest kitchen, you will find a stove and a refrigerator. Additionally, there is a drip coffee maker, good coffee for it, and a few essential dishes and items. Outside, there is a small pizza oven (let us know if you want to use it). You can stock up at the nearby shop or pop out to a restaurant or for pizza. Our area consists of two hectares of un-fenced meadows, away from neighbors. The surroundings will surely amaze you. There are endless forests of Kampinos National Park, a picturesque river, and long meadows and fields. It’s easy to spot a deer here, and sometimes a fox or an elk. If you want more, you can go horseback riding at the nearby stable or rent kayaks. But you can also just stay on our land, relax in the sauna or hammock, and watch the birds with binoculars. The cottage is quite small and we designed it for 2 people. However, if you really want to, you can bring your friends; they can sleep on a comfortable 140 cm pull-out sofa. Just remember that it might be a bit cozier then! :) The cottage is available year-round. On hot summer days, the air conditioning will cool you down, and in winter, the ecological heat pump will warm you up. So don’t worry about the temperature! We have good WiFi in the cottage. On weekends, the minimum length of stay is 2 nights (Friday + Saturday).
