The new Baltic Sea domicile "Ankerbuk" (Low German for anchor bay) is located close to the idyllic Born harbor on the Bodden and within walking distance of beautiful and quaint cafés and restaurants. In the winter season 2024/25, the apartments in the 'Red House' were completely renovated and equipped with new bathrooms, kitchens and furniture. At the same time, the 'Black House' was built, a sustainably designed new building with two semi-detached houses furnished with great attention to detail, where families and friends can enjoy a relaxing break by the sea. Thanks to the cozy fireplace in the living areas and the spacious sauna in the "Austernfischer", the houses become an oasis to relax, let go and feel good even in the colder months of the year.. For the new building, which was completed in May 2025, we placed great emphasis on an intelligent floor plan design and a high-quality finish with natural materials. It was important to us that the building, with its traditional design and cubature, blends into the idyllic village structure of Born and at the same time forms a recognizable unit with the existing building and the newly laid out, spacious plot. We have not only made reference to the surroundings in the construction - we have also paid attention to sensitive landscaping and the greatest possible preservation of the existing trees in the garden. From the generously glazed living and dining area, guests can look out onto the old trees in the garden, which, together with the partially covered terrace, create a seamless transition between inside and outside. The location of the vacation apartments is perfect for nature lovers and active vacationers: explore the nearby hiking trails, visit the Darß climbing forest or discover the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park. Bicycles can be parked safely so that you can explore the surrounding area comfortably on two wheels. For your comfort, free Wi-Fi, a private parking lot and non-smoking rooms are available. The quiet neighborhood and the proximity to the harbor and Bodden invite you to take relaxing walks. Shopping facilities are within walking distance, so that you can always take care of yourself.
