Babilon Home & Family is a modern resort complex located in the village of Babilon (Pomeranian voivodeship), in the heart of the Tuchola Forest, on the edge of Kashubia, on the shores of Lake Łowny. A private beach, as well as the peace and quiet of the forests surrounding the resort, rich in fruits and mushrooms, guarantee rest and relaxation, while the proximity of bicycle trails will satisfy the needs of those who appreciate an active lifestyle. The Babylon resort was established in the 1960s and has been in continuous operation until today. Initially, the role of sleeping places was performed by old railroad cars (looking carefully under your feet you can still find railroad sleepers). It was not until the 1970s that the first cottages began to be built, as well as the infrastructure surrounding them. The complex's current appearance dates from 2021, when it underwent a major renovation. The cottages, which had their glory years long behind them, were replaced with new, more comfortable ones. The entire infrastructure has also changed. A café was built on the waterfront, and a water equipment rental shop was built next to it. There was also space for bicycle rentals, covered gazebos for bonfires and barbecues, and the canteen building was adapted into a playroom with ping pong and air hockey. There are currently 26 cottages in the complex ready to accommodate up to 150 people. Each has a living room with an equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower, an open mezzanine and a terrace with a seating area. The cottages are divided into 2 standards: a 5os single cottage and a 10os double cottage. National Park "Bory Tucholskie" The "Bory Tucholskie" National Park, 10 km away, is an excellent place for both walking and cycling trips. Most of the park's area is made up of forests (almost 80%, mainly pine forests). On its territory there are 21 lakes (including 7 constituting the Struga Siedmiu Jezior), the oak "Bartuś" - one of the oldest trees in Poland (age estimated at over 600 years!), as well as didactic paths with footbridges facilitating walks in more inaccessible places. Kashubian Marszruta a 200-kilometer system of bicycle trails located in the Chojnice district. The trails have been laid out at a safe distance from busy roads and along gravel/asphalt roads with very little traffic. This allows us to actively spend time visiting the most interesting places in the region. There are 4 marked trails: yellow (running next to the resort), red, green and black.
