Welcome to Oberland's outback! Directly on Lake Beniaskie, on a natural meadow of 2 hectares with its own small deciduous forest, away from the quiet village of Bieniasze. You will locate us right on the border of the Natura 2000 Reserve, Lake Wuksniki and directly in the Pasleka Valley Protected Landscape Area. Your Cottage Apartment on Beniaskie! We have for you an atmospheric wooden house with two separate Cottage Apartments "Trokajny" and "Mysłaki". They have separate entrances and are separated by a 12-meter "barn" which is the space where we store our bikes and SUPs. Each of our two Cottage Apartments offers you: - 72 sqm on two floors - a light-flooded open-plan living room with a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and dining area for four.... - ...and a cast-iron fireplace and a cozy chaise longue for two in front of it - a bathroom with a shower and underfloor heating - two cozy bedrooms overlooking the landscape, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds and a crib - you can sleep deeply and comfortably on a high-quality boxspring mattress and a pillow and comforter that are made exclusively of natural materials, cotton and goose down - two own & covered verandas with barbecue on both sides of the house, from which you can watch sunrises and sunsets - your own fire pit. What's happening on Beniaskie! On Beniaskie! you can go on vacation at any time of the year - even in the depths of winter it's warm and cozy thanks to the roaring wood-burning stove. Then, of course, it will be time for lakeside saunas, walruses and ice fishing. You need comfortable shoes to get around just "garden" because our property covers about 14 hectares. It is crossed by two, small streams with ponds and wetlands. On the other side of the property you will find Lake Wuksniki, which, with 68 meters depth, is the deepest lake in Warmia and Mazury. Here you have direct access to nature, silence and seclusion. The habitat is bordered on the west by the shoreline of Lake Beniaskie with a length of about 300 m, on the north by forests and farmland, on the east and south by meadows with a moist biotope and hills. In autumn it's worth arming yourself with wellingtons, while in summer you should wear swimwear. On the shore of Lake Beniaskie there is a pier where a rowboat is moored, and from which you can jump into the lake and swim to the other side, to the pier of Bieniasze Manor. You can also fish in the lake: large catfish and pike are regularly seen and caught here. You can also explore Lake Benyansky with our SUPs.... On our bicycles you can comfortably reach the field paths or the vast forests, all the way to the Pasleka Valley or Lake Narie. In the forests, depending on the season, you can find blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, currants, chanterelles, boletes and chestnuts. There, through lonely forests and meadows, you can also take a carriage ride. After dark, you can light a bonfire, and at night a fascinatingly clear Oberland sky with countless stars awaits you. Local delicacies at Beniaskie! When we go shopping in the morning, we can organize delicious organic products from the area for your breakfast: real rolls from the baker, country butter cut from a piece, eggs from hens that still run in the meadow, honey from bees that collect their nectar in pure nature, freshly roasted coffee ground by you "à la minute" and much more. And on Sundays, we bake our own rolls from freshly ground organic grains. For dinner, we recommend beef from our neighbors' Hereford cattle - fed exclusively on grass in the meadows around Beniaskie! and dry-aged for several weeks, and therefore very juicy and a culinary delight: - in the colder months, for a cozy evening by the fireplace, a delicious Fondue Bourguignonne of Hereford beef tenderloin...SlowFood at it's best - and in the warmer seasons you can grill juicy Hereford T-Bones & Burgers from the farm next door with fresh garden vegetables on your grill. If you don't want to cook, but nevertheless want to eat at Beniaskie!: you can order delicious take-out food at Wojciechach Manor (oberland cuisine with local and homegrown products) or in Miłakowo at MiDano (daily menu, home cooking & pizza) with delivery. Local products and dishes from Dworek & MiDano are NOT included in the price of your stay. Stopping by for the weekend?
