Description
We invite you to stay in a Mongolian yurt, located in a horse pasture near Magura Łomiańska Mountain. The village of Lipie, where the yurt is located, is a small hamlet off the main road, surrounded by pastures for horses and cows, but also a great starting point for hiking trails (about a 25-minute drive to Ustrzyki Górne and Brzegi Górne). Our yurt is situated near the ruins of an old bell tower and a historic cemetery, which is home to various wild animals, such as deer, owls, and foxes. Beehives are located nearby, and horses graze in the surrounding area—including the Hucul breed, characteristic of this region, as well as thoroughbreds. The yurt is heated by a wood-burning fireplace, and we, of course, provide the wood. However, it’s up to you to light the fire and add wood. :) Inside, there is a sink, a set of cutlery, mugs, plates, a small refrigerator, and a kettle. The pasture covers about 4 hectares, where you can go for a walk, visit the horses, or go mushroom hunting. At the end of the pasture is the hosts’ cottage, and beyond that are forests and a hillside meadow, which is also a great place for a walk. There are also horseback riding trails in the area. Our yurt is an intimate place, perfect for people who appreciate contact with animals and nature and don’t need too many of the modern world’s conveniences. :) We also organize horseback riding weekends. During your stay, you can explore the nooks and crannies of the Lipiec region or learn to ride a horse. All this in the midst of nature, on safe horses. The parking lot is located by a stream, about 250 meters down the hill, but we’re always happy to help transport your luggage by ATV or pickup truck. When you stay with us, you receive a discount on horseback riding at our stable. About 100 meters down the hill, you’ll find the hosts’ family home, a workshop, and the stable. We welcome pets, provided they are kept on a leash on the property, for the safety of our cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, and horses. The yurt is designed for two people, but we are open to negotiation on this matter. Of course, we can also accommodate a few pets. You may bring your own horse. The cost for a stall is 40 PLN per day. We have only one yurt, so it’s just you and the horses out in the pasture (and optionally deer, cats, foxes, wildcats, hares, and our dogs ;) ) For more photos and videos, check out our farm’s Instagram: stajnia.hard.ducha We’d be happy to answer your questions and provide more details via private message. :)
