Description

We invite you to stay in a Mongolian yurt located on a vast, approximately 4-hectare horse pasture, at the foot of Mount Magura Łomiańska. The yurt is situated in the village of Lipie – a small, quiet village located away from the main road. The area is surrounded by pastures for horses and cows, while also serving as a good base for exploring the Bieszczady Mountains. Ustrzyki Górne and Brzegi Górne can be reached in about 25 minutes. The place has a unique, natural character. The yurt stands near the remnants of an old bell tower and a historic cemetery, which is a refuge for many wild animals. Here, you can encounter deer, owls, foxes, hares, and wildcats. Not far away, there are also beehives, and horses, including the characteristic Huculs and noble horses of this region, graze around the yurt. The yurt is heated by a wood-burning stove, with wood provided on-site. Guests are responsible for lighting the fire and adding wood as needed. Inside, there is basic equipment for a comfortable stay: a sink, cutlery, cups, plates, a small refrigerator, and a kettle. It is an intimate place for those who value direct contact with nature and animals and do not require many modern amenities. The pasture of approximately 4 hectares is accessible to guests. You can take a walk, visit the horses, search for mushrooms, or venture further into the forests. At the end of the pasture, there is the hosts' house, and behind it, forests and a hillside that also make for a good walking area. There are also horse trails available in the vicinity. For those interested in horseback riding, weekends in the saddle are organized. During your stay, you can explore the area, discover the nooks of the Lipie region, or learn to ride in a natural setting on calm, safe horses. Guests staying overnight also receive a discount on horseback riding at the farm. Parking is located by the stream, about 250 meters below the yurt. If needed, the hosts assist with transporting luggage by quad or pickup truck. About 100 meters from the yurt is the hosts' family home, workshop, and stable. Pets are allowed on the premises, provided they are kept on a leash. This is related to the safety of the cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, and horses present here. The yurt is typically intended for two people, but it is possible to arrange for a larger number of guests individually. You can also bring your horse – the cost of a stable is 40 PLN per day. There is only one yurt on the property, allowing guests to enjoy an intimate and peaceful space on the pasture, in close proximity to the horses and surrounding nature. This place is for those who want to relax away from the hustle and bustle, wake up among horses, walk through the Bieszczady areas, and experience simple relaxation close to nature.

An amazing place 😍 The yurt is beautiful and comfortable, the heater managed to keep us warm during the August nights (temp. around 10°), the wood crackled nicely as we fell asleep 💤 Around us was peace, horses (you can cuddle them!), ducks, chickens, kittens, and a dog, so the company was excellent. We had a barbecue, lit a fire, and went horseback riding☺️ The location is great if you want to visit both the Bieszczady Mountains and Lake Solina, like we did. There are also great attractions nearby, such as the Bieszczady History Museum and the Polaris Stop (stargazing). We had a lovely time here and of course, we highly recommend it! ❤️

We felt so blissful in the cottage that we extended our stay by one day without hesitation, and we didn't stay longer only due to commitments at home. Silence, peace, idyllic atmosphere, relaxation - that's how I can describe our feelings after the stay. For sure - see you again!

Your host: Jagoda

Languages I speak: Polish, English

Hi! My name is Jagoda, and together with my partner and parents, we run a farmstay and horse stable located at the edge of the Western Bieszczady Mountains. We love people and animals, and we want to give our guests a glimpse into our life with horses, as well as show them the Bieszczady Mountains from a more intimate perspective. We’re open and always available to our guests; we’re always happy to offer advice on which trails to choose, recommend interesting and off-the-beaten-path places to eat, and show you around our area—even from horseback :)
