A haven of peace nestled in the heart of the Corrèze countryside, Les Cabanes des Landes is located on 7 hectares of land bordering a river. There is only one small road leading to it and a multitude of paths to explore this wonderful corner of nature. Spacious cabin on stilts with large living room, kitchen area, master bedroom with queen-size bed, children's bedroom with bunk beds. Max. 6 people. Separate bathroom and dry toilet. Large covered terrace on fully fenced site. The cabin is 30 meters from the river, ensuring peace and quiet. Living in nature does not mean sacrificing comfort, so it is equipped with all modern conveniences: water (cold and hot), electricity, Wi-Fi internet, and television. Cell phones work thanks to Wi-Fi or internet telephony. In order to protect nature, we ask that you use the 100% biodegradable products that we provide. Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove. Even in winter, it can reach a temperature of 64 to 68°F. Please note that, like any wood-burning stove, it needs to be refilled with wood regularly (max. 5 hours of autonomy, wood provided). On request, we can refill it during the day in your absence. If you forget to refill it at night, we provide electric blankets and hot water bottles. Please note that this accommodation is a cabin. It is insulated and can be occupied in winter, but it obviously does not have the same insulation coefficients as a house. It will not be possible to wear a T-shirt in the middle of winter 😉 Babies: as happy grandparents ourselves, we have equipment to make your visit with a baby easier. We do not leave this equipment in the cabin, but please do not hesitate to ask us (travel cot, crib, musical mobile, no high chair but a table seat (from 6 months), bathtub, bed guard, etc.). In fine weather, a communal area at the entrance to the property provides a space for meals and breakfast, a relaxation area (TV, library, board games), and a leisure area with pétanque, darts, and billiards (reserved for those aged 12 and over and under parental supervision). Several activities are available at an additional cost. SPA: a spa is available in a secluded part of the property. One session is offered free of charge for all bookings of at least 2 nights. For safety reasons, it is not accessible to children under 12 years of age. A babysitting service is available for young children if required. Each session is private for the duration of its use. Session price (approx. 40 minutes): €10/person, bathrobes included for cabin residents. Remember to book your session in advance!
