La Cantina is an accommodation located in Villar de Corneja, in the province of Avila, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the exuberance of the green. This place stands out for its rich gastronomy, landscapes and historical heritage, being particularly famous for the Corneja river that offers spectacular scenery, a Roman bridge worthy of admiration and several old mills. With capacity for 11 people, La Cantina offers the maximum equipment and comfort, with an exquisite decoration that guarantees an unforgettable stay. It is a rural house with 5 rooms: 3 of them with bathroom inside (2 double rooms, 2 triple rooms and a single room), all equipped with television. On the first floor there are 2 rooms, one double and one single, each with its own bathroom. The other rooms are located on the second floor, complemented by 5 bathrooms, one of them with a large jacuzzi. It also has a large living-dining room equipped with games such as billiards, arcade, darts and foosball, 4 sofas, as well as heating and a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, etc.). Guests have at their disposal sheets, towels and firewood included in the service. For those who need to accommodate more guests, there are two other houses next door, with capacity for 2 and 4 people respectively. La Cantina is located near spectacular bathing areas, ideal for a dip in summer, such as Puente del Congosto, Barco de Ávila, Garganta de los Caballeros, Bohoyo, among others. Located on the border between the provinces of Avila and Salamanca, 45 minutes from either of them and only 5 minutes from Piedrahíta or Barco de Ávila, it offers views of the Peña Negra pass (1909 meters altitude), a place well known for holding the paragliding championship in 2011 (world championship) and for being a passing point of the cycling tour on numerous occasions.
