Casas Cueva and Cortijo Palacete La Tala, tourist accommodations located in a large agricultural estate in Guadix. Historical caves and stately Cortijo XVIII century, surrounded by nature in its purest form, where you can enjoy a well deserved rest. We offer our clients accommodation in cave houses or in cortijo-palacete, fully equipped. Both share common facilities and outdoor areas. Outside we highlight the summer swimming pool, with more than two hundred square meters of water, the gardens, for which we take advantage of the centenary trees that the property has, and a paddle court, as well as petanque and other ball games. INTERIORS We have 8 cave houses. Each cave is different from the other, no two are alike, and in this case we have taken advantage of the differences to give each house its own decoration. Their distribution is as follows: CAVE HOUSE VEZA 1 BEDROOM The Superior Cave Houses are characterized by being more spacious, luminous and better located. They consist of: - Living room with window/door to the outside, side tables, dining table and chairs, sofa-bed (90x200) - Kitchen integrated in the living room, basic but complete, with all the necessary kitchenware. We also have consumables, wet and dry cloths, scourer, and dishwasher. - Complete bathroom with shower/bathtub, as well as bath linen and consumables: shower gel and shampoo. All bathrooms have 100l electric water heater. - Bedroom with double bed or twin beds and a folding bed (80x180), with all the necessary household utensils, plus luggage rack bench, bedside table with courtesy light, wall rack, as well as holes with bar that makes closet, typical in cave houses. MAIZ CAVE HOUSE 1 BEDROOM - Living room with window/door to the outside, side tables, dining table and chairs, sofa bed (90x200) - Kitchen integrated in the living room, basic but complete, with all the necessary utensils. WHEAT CAVE HOUSE WITH HYDRO-MASSAGE 1 BEDROOM It is an independent cave, it has a front place with barbecue and garden furniture. Its distribution is as follows: - Bedroom with double bed and whirlpool bath. - Living room with sofa bed (90x200), side table, dining table, two armchairs and fireplace. - Kitchen integrated in the living room, with all the necessary kitchenware including consumables. - Bathroom with shower and household items. WATER CAVE HOUSE WITH HYDROMASSAGE 2 BEDROOMS Casa Cueva Agua is the last one we have prepared to make available to our customers, although according to various studies we believe that within Finca La Tala, is the oldest. All our houses, as it has been said, are historical, there is no one that is chopped, neither in this, nor in the previous century. It is possible to calculate that this cave is more than 3 centuries old because of the way some of the rooms have been chopped. Of the 5 rooms it has, 2 of them have the shape of "cow ribs", according to the denomination of the current masons. What this means is that the ceiling is made up of two straight planes that meet at a central angle. The other rooms have also had this shape, but due to construction safety issues, and their state of maintenance, there has been no choice but to modify them. This cave house is located in the lower part of the estate and was originally the center of the life of the estate, having in its interior the oven where bread was traditionally baked for the community that worked there. The dimensions are very large, if we think about the past, two families lived in it, with a kitchen room and even a room for the animals, a common situation in humble families living in rural areas. The cave has two large bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. It has a distribution room, where there is also a small kitchen, from which there is access to the bathroom, the bedrooms and the living room. The living room is about 20 square meters, with a large fireplace that in winter is the best of the house. Finally the bathroom has a whirlpool bath. The constructive decoration of the house has been made with recycled materials, using wooden doors for part of the floor, or formwork sheets already discarded. The cabinets have been built with reused window shutters, and for the sink or the sink we have used old discarded pans. Each house/apartment consists of a bedroom that can have a double bed or twin beds, as well as a folding bed for children, and a living room with a sofa bed, and of course a complete bathroom, one of them with a whirlpool bathtub. All the houses have a kitchenette, or basic kitchen integrated in the living room; all of them have television, as well as all the kitchenware and household linen. The entrance of the cave is made to the common space that is presented as a living room, but that can be adapted to be used as a dining room or similar.
