Wildly romantic—Italian, Mediterranean, and Alpine all at once. Hiking 12 months a year! Our vacation homes are cozy and well-equipped. Part vacation apartment, part mountain cabin. Located just across the Swiss border in the Italian region of Piedmont. Locarno and Milan are within easy reach. The cozy vacation homes, with a sunny south-facing location and magnificent mountain views, are car-free and situated along an ancient stone path at an elevation of 700 meters. Far from mass tourism, gentle tourism and sustainable vacations are possible here. One vacation home for 2–3 people, one for up to 5–6 people, and one for up to 4–5 people. You can also book the vacation homes together. In addition to many hikes with no need for a car—hiking right from your doorstep—our vacation homes invite you to linger, take in the views, enjoy yourself, and relax. Our village of Falmenta–Durone is hundreds of years old and characterized by old stone houses, palm trees, chestnut trees, and fig trees. Falmenta–Durone is car-free and accessible only on foot, a 15-minute walk from the parking lot in Falmenta. The largest nature reserve in the Alps, the Val Grande, is also accessible by hike from here.
