The south facade with a porch open to the sun and light, offers views over the pool and garden, where a century-old acacia, several magnolia and palm trees take much of the limelight. On its facade the splendorous bougainvillea and the wooden balconies with access from the rooms stand out. The fundamental elements of this construction are stone, brick and wood. It is 3 km from the center of the town of Santillana del Mar. Guests can access the Ermita de San Bartolomé, which is just a short walk away. In addition, in Oreña you can visit the Cualventi cave, located in the neighborhood of Perelada. This cave was discovered in the last century by chance, by the Provincial Roadsmen. Cave paintings and other remains from the Lower, Middle and Upper Magdalenian periods have been discovered inside the cave.
