Beskid Cottage has been in our family for a long time, so it has seen a lot and remembers just as much. Above all, moments full of emotion, many family gatherings and constant laughter. We have always marveled at the picturesqueness of the local nature and the serenity the house offers. Finally, we decided to open its thresholds to others as well. That's why we invite you to the top of Chelm Mountain, to a modern wooden house with panoramic windows, providing a wonderful view of the Beskids. We filled the interiors with a cozy, enveloping atmosphere, soft fabrics, natural colors and comfortable places to relax. Here a book falls into your hands by itself, and a canvas hammock invites you to take a nap. Chata Beskidu was built in 2005 as an innovative project by young architect Bartek Sitarski, finished by interior designer Katarzyna Kuchejda, from whom my close uncle purchased it 18 years ago. A turn of fate brought the house into our hands and now it is maturing before our eyes in an amazing way. The house can accommodate a maximum of 10 people (6 people are welcome in the main house, while our additional auxiliary cottage will accommodate another 4 guests). Activation of the auxiliary cottage involves an additional charge of 200 PLN/day, added to the price list price provided during the period of the planned stay. On the first floor there is an open leisure area overlooking the beautiful Beskid Wyspowy. Here we have a fireplace, a large sofa bed and a dining area, which discreetly includes an extremely atmospheric, fully equipped kitchen. Wood for the fireplace is always waiting in readiness for you to warm up by its warmth. There is also a small bathroom with an open shower on the first floor. The first floor is a bedroom area with two spacious rooms with comfortable double beds and a bathroom with a separate shower. In addition, in one of the bedrooms there is a folding chair that serves as a single bed. Next to the house there are two terraces where you can laze, watch the stars, eat breakfast or barbecue. Gas grill included, of course. What can you do with us? Just being in our garden will be extremely soothing for you, you can meditate here, practice yoga, take a nap in the hammock for a moment or two and delight in the natural silence. We also have something for the active: a private tennis court, where you can play not only tennis, but also soccer and basketball. You play, and we provide you with racquets and rackets, balls and balls, so you can have a nice time together. Chelm Mountain, on the top of which the Cottage stands, is both a tourist spot, due to its numerous trails, nearby ski slope and vantage point, but at the same time offering solace and tranquility due to its location high on the mountain, where the tourist urges do not reach. Runners and cyclists can test themselves on the island peaks and improve their oxygen ceiling. Our county is crisscrossed by numerous hiking and biking trails of varying difficulty. At the foot of the mountain we can soak our feet, and in winter we can take a walrus dip in the crisp, crystalline Rab River. In case of an emergency, we are quite close to sightseeing: - Krakow, - Wieliczka, - Niepołomice Castle, - Niepołomice Forest, - Bochnia (with its salt mine and archaeological park), - Wadowice, - Dobczyce (where there is a castle on Dobczyckie Lake and an open-air museum), - Lanckorona (an extremely charming town), - Kasina Wielka (numerous bike trails). What will you eat? At altitude, everything tastes delicious, and we do our best to ensure that you do not lack anything. First of all, you can prepare your own meals in our atmospheric kitchen. The house is located almost at the top of the mountain, so a walk for shopping in winter can be a real expedition. There is a "convenience" store about 1 km away, and to have a choice you need to go down to the foothills, about 5 km. There, in Myslenice, there are a huge number of stores. On our market street at Myslenice Market Square you will catch real cheeses, fresh eggs, homemade sourdough bread and seasonal fruits and vegetables. We are also happy to recommend our favorite restaurants to you. You can come to us with your pets. We, the hosts live on the same mountain, although on the other slope of it. We are separated by about 15 minutes by car, which means we are usually close at hand. If needed, I or my husband would be happy to give you advice about the area or help. We welcome you to our Cottage! Additional information: - No matter how many people you decide to come in, whether you want to rent only the main house or use both available houses, you always get the whole property exclusively. - During the holiday season, reservations are made "Saturday to Saturday". - During holiday periods, the cost of reservations does not depend on the number of people (i.e., there is no charge for the launch of the auxiliary house).
