Description

Liska Cottage is an original Podlasie wooden house from 1948, relocated by us to Orlanskiy Bohemia and reconstructed according to the best carpentry traditions. The entire house is built of wood from the Bialowieza Forest without the use of nails. Inside it is heated with two beautiful tiled stoves, for construction. The Liska cottage offers two bedrooms that sleep six, a large and fully equipped kitchen with a living room, a bathroom, a spacious terrace and a unique drawn porch, ideal for morning coffee. Liska is located on a fenced plot, right next to the forest. Nearby are the Bachmaty lagoon, the Chekhov Orla Nature Reserve, biking and hiking trails to the Bialowieza Forest, wildlife refuges.

I recommend wholeheartedly this place. Beautiful, atmospheric cottage meticulously and lovingly renovated by the Owners with their own hands. There is everything you need to relax. Cordial, helpful hosts, offer advice and stories about the region and local products. Beautiful surroundings, peace and quiet, good starting point, close to Bialowieza. You can feel like in "old Podlasie" or at God's garden ;-))) We will definitely return. We greet the hosts.

Languages I speak: Polish, English, German, Ukrainian, Belarus

Our names are Paulina and Wojtek. We farm for ourselves under the forest, in Orla Bohemia, which we call Czochy in our own language. We come from Podlasie and after several years of education and adventures in big cities, we decided to return home. Although we are both literate people by profession, we built everything on our farm with our own hands. And we keep building, because we love Podlasie, traditions, forest and wooden architecture the most!
