Description

Adopted an old, 80-year-old farmhouse in the Island Beskids. There are 4 houses in the yard: our house and our art studio, a small guest house and a large guest house. The cottages are located on a Hill, surrounded by nature, forest, overlooking the mountains. The windows expose stunning sunrises and sunsets. The large cottage is a project created from an 80-year-old barn, after which the structure and body were preserved. A fireplace and a terrace, where you can sit and listen to birds from the morning and crickets in the late evenings, add to the charm of the cottage. And also watch spectacular sunsets. From the small house sunrises stretching across the sky can be watched without getting out of bed. The large cottage is heated by a fireplace. So you have to smoke to keep warm. The house holds heat very well, don't worry, you won't get cold. More than one winter behind us. The small house has convenient gas heating. If you are interested in breakfasts, let's arrange it in advance. They are not always available because we are not always on site. Also let us know in advance if you would like to work, internet works great in the big cottage, there is limited coverage in the small one. The small cottage has two 100-year-old single beds (which can be pushed together) and sleeping on a not-so-high mezzanine. It is most comfortable for two adults and two Children. Four adults would be more comfortable in a larger cottage. In it, the bedroom is on a high, large mezzanine, to which a spiral staircase leads. There, on the old soft planks are 2 large double super comfortable mattresses. There is also a couch downstairs by the fireplace. Some people sleep on it :) The little house has a large terrace, where you can spend days looking at the mountains, or at the clouds. Below in the forest cover is a second terrace with bathtubs where you can take herbal baths, or in the rainwater. The cottages are open spaces, equipped with simple kitchens that allow cooking, their own bathrooms. Both cottages have large terraces and independent fireplaces. There are parking spaces in front of the houses. Leaving the house, you can go straight to the mountains. And even walk to a mountain stream where you can cool off on summer days. The house on Fern Hill is a place created by us - two artists. Paintings, sculptures and furniture - everything that fills the cottages we created ourselves. We also independently run a small vegetable garden. The products we use to prepare breakfasts come partly from the vegetable garden and partly from neighbors and friendly small farmers. All day long you can hike in the countryside, climbing the surrounding peaks: Paproć, Łopień, Łysa Góra, or a bit further to Mogielica or Ćwilin. Green bike trails encourage rides even during hot weather. In the area we have two active ski lifts, where you can ski without a crowd! We highly recommend them!We also recommend climbing to the Municipal Mountain and from the observation deck admire the panorama of the Beskid, Gorce and Tatra Mountains. For those who are bored with walking and taking forest baths, we have something special - four rustic tubs that we keep in the garden. You can have a bath with an amazing view. By the way, we recommend lying down on the grass, turn your head off, look at the clouds lazily streaming across the sky and just slow down. Children and pets are welcome.

We started the new year with a stay at the Fern Hill Cottage. We will remember this trip for a very long time and plan to return to this place also in other seasons. Peace and quiet, the cottage beautiful, atmospheric, very much in our style. Smoking in the goat had its own wonderful atmosphere, the heat spread through the house very quickly. And on top of that, the owners who live next door prepare delicious meals, both breakfast and dinner we devoured in a few minutes, everything fresh, warm, prepared from good, quality product. The owners are very friendly, they take care of guests and look after them throughout their stay. We heartily recommend accommodation here. Greetings!

We have just returned from the House on Fern Hill and freshly I can share my impressions. At the outset we were greeted by the Host, whose discreet care we felt throughout our stay. He served us delicious and hearty dinners. There was a sense of heart and passion. The House itself overstuffed, spacious, comfortable, very atmospheric. Sleeping on the mezzanine on comfortable mattresses is second to none. Well, and the silence, absolute deep peace, priceless. We fueled the cottage with wood in the so-called "goat", it was warm and atmospheric. Trees in abundance. The trails around the Hill seemed endless, so for walkers an excellent opportunity for hours of walking. We were there in autumn and I can imagine how beautiful it must be there in summer. I heartily recommend and thank the Hosts for sharing this place with others. Marzanna and Janusz.
