Description
In the middle of a field stands a unique house, inspired by traditional straw sheaves, only that it is made of wood. It is surrounded by the Masurian landscape of fields and meadows, changing with the seasons, and you can admire the surroundings through the large windows. The cottage is adjacent to three farms, a herd of cows, deer and elk, providing soothing silence and proximity to nature. A road leads to the cottage through the forest and village. You will leave your car at our habitat (200 m from the cottage), from where luggage can be transported by wheelbarrow or drive up the dirt road to the door. There is a terrace, a living room with a fireplace and panoramic windows, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a bathtub, shower and heated floor, and a mezzanine for sleeping (4 beds, for a maximum of 6 people). Here you can really slow down - read a book on the terrace, walk through the fields and forest, watch the animals or bake in the well-equipped kitchen. Nearby is the Round Lake (20 minutes on foot, 5 minutes by car), and farther away is the port in Wilkasy and other Masurian lakes. In summer, field work in the area is possible, and in spring and autumn - a bit of mud, so wellingtons are welcome. This is an ideal place for families - children run through the fields, peep at frogs, build bases and discover nature. The lodge is not fenced, and cows graze in the area and there are sometimes wild animals, so keep an eye on small children and dogs. Bring your groceries with you, as the lodge has a fully equipped kitchen. You can buy fresh eggs from the host on site. It is possible to barbecue on the terrace while a bonfire is prepared at some distance from the cottage and mature grain. In summer, watch out for flammable straw, and on sunny days, cover the windows so it doesn't get too hot (there is air conditioning, but it's better to shade the windows too) This is a place where tranquility, nature and regeneration play a major role. It's worth just letting yourself do nothing - you can't avoid that here!
