Description
We invite you to relax in a charming wooden cottage in Odrowąż in the Podhale region, not far from Zakopane. The cottage under Herbik is situated on a hill, which guarantees our guests peace and quiet as well as wonderful views of the Tatra panorama. In the surrounding fields and meadows, you can encounter and admire cows and other farm animals that sometimes 'peek' into our guests' windows. It is simply homely, secluded, and relaxing. There is a good chance that on the green hill you will experience a successful reset and the desired rest. We provide 6-8 sleeping places. The cottage has a living room combined with a kitchenette (fully equipped) and a dining area, as well as a bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. Upstairs there are two bedrooms that accommodate 6 people (2+1), one with a balcony. There is an option to add a crib for a child. Guests have exclusive access to a garden, where a hot tub with a jacuzzi awaits, a bonfire/grill area with benches, and for the youngest, a playground with swings, a slide, and a sandbox. Free parking, wi-fi, and TV (Smart) are available. A forest is located nearby. Rental for a minimum of 2 days. We welcome guests without pets. Odrowąż is a charming village located on seven hills, which is why it is called the Podhale Rome. From the cottage, there is a breathtaking view of the entire Tatra panorama and the villages lying at their foot. You can admire the Gorce with its highest peak, Turbacz, and upon reaching the summit of Herbik, you can see the Beskid Żywiecki and its highest peak - Babia Góra - a destination for many hikes. Shifting your gaze to the left, you will notice the Orawskie Lake, which lies on the border of Poland and Slovakia and is a frequent destination for those seeking recreation and relaxation by the lake. Odrowąż is a quiet and peaceful village located in the Orawsko-Nowotarska basin, which means that we can find both mountains that are a destination for walkers, as well as therapeutic peat bogs, which are one of the largest peatland complexes in Poland. The village is traversed by a bike trail that circles the western part of the Orawsko-Nowotarska basin, mostly through forestless areas with distant views of the peat bogs, but also of the surrounding ranges – Żeleźnica, Gubałówka, with the Tatras and Babia Góra in the background. The trail is easy, scenic, and interesting in terms of nature. For more advanced cyclists, we recommend the route around the Tatras, which is 250 km of professionally prepared trails for cyclists on both the Polish and Slovak sides of the mountains. Odrowąż is an excellent base for trips to the Tatras as well as Gorce or Babia Góra. The biggest attraction in the area is undoubtedly the Chochołowskie thermal baths located about 25 km from the cottage, the Bania thermal baths – 38 km, the Orawski Ethnographic Park in Zubrzyca – 25 km, the Chabówka Railway Heritage Park, and Rabkoland in Rabka Zdrój – about 17 km, the ski lift in Spytkowice – 17 km, the ski complex in Białka Tatrzańska – 38 km, Czorsztyn Lake along with the castle – 45 km.
