Description

Among meadows and forests, following a winding road between the Kashubian hills - you will find two unique wooden cabins that smell of wood. We named them Kos and Żuraw - created for relaxation in SLOW mode. Here, in the morning, fog envelops the meadows surrounding our 3000m2 plot, where we have preserved a small grove - it is often visited by blackbirds, tits, jays, and many other birds, and almost every day the sky above the cabins is traversed by majestic cranes, whose calls resonate throughout the area from morning till dusk. Our main goal was your comfort and freedom in enjoying relaxation close to nature, which is why each cabin has a private hot tub, which you can enter directly from the wooden terrace. If you decide on a hot bath with hydromassage, you don’t have to worry about lighting it - we can light it for you before your arrival. There is also access to a sauna on the premises - the hours of use are always arranged individually, so you always have the sauna area just for yourself and your company. The sauna provides great comfort - it has a vestibule where you can leave your outerwear, a panoramic window facing the garden, and a large selection of essential oils - a few drops will allow you to combine your sauna session with health-beneficial aromatherapy. In the cabins, we created a comfortable cozy space by using many natural materials (some of which we made ourselves!), focusing on wood and natural fabrics. The cabins have underfloor heating, but we know that nothing replaces the warmth and atmosphere provided by a fireplace, which is why each cabin has a stove in the living room, ensuring evenings in a unique setting. Regardless of whether you plan a stay for two, with friends, or with family, the cabins are prepared for every eventuality :) Kos and Żuraw - seemingly the same but completely different, despite having the same layout, they have been finished in a completely different atmosphere, it is up to you to choose which space speaks to you more. To Żuraw, where sunlight streams in from the morning, the bedrooms are bright and cozy, the kitchen with an energetic yellow color encourages meal preparation, while the living room features reclaimed brick on the wall, and we chose a comfortable sofa that matches its color. Or perhaps it will be Kos, hidden in the shade of our grove, where black accents prevail, the central point in the living room is a coffee table made by us from beams from the construction of the cabins, and on the red brick wall, the shadows of the trees dance... We are curious about your choice! And for practical matters: Each cabin has a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with a spacious shower, and two separate bedrooms upstairs, accessible via oak stairs. Inside, you will find a drip coffee maker with a grinder, so you can always prepare aromatic coffee from freshly ground beans. The cabins are located in a quiet area by the forest, but nearby you will find beautiful hiking and biking trails, a wide selection of restaurants and cafes, and attractions for children. We will point out places worth visiting upon your arrival in the mini-guide we prepared for you :) In summer, we recommend the lakes, which we have plenty of in the area, and outside the season, it is worth exploring the landscapes from exceptionally located viewpoints. The Kashubian region is known for its varied terrain, even bike rides can turn out to be challenging ;) We created Dzikie Domki with those in mind who want to escape the hustle and bustle, relax among the trees, and listen to the birds - not the bass from the next room. This is a place for a hammock, a book, and the stars, not for parties until late at night. That’s why, with a smile but firmly: we say "no" to parties, and definitely "yes" to nighttime silence (from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM). Thank you for helping us maintain the atmosphere of this place :)

I highly recommend this place. We visited in winter, so we had very snowy conditions. The cottage looked great in these conditions. In addition, the parking lot and paths on the property were prepared for these difficult conditions – cleared of snow and sprinkled with salt to prevent slipping. It was very nice that the owner prepared the fireplace and the tub. When we arrived, the fireplace was already lit and the tub was filled with hot water :) The cottage has everything you need. Coffee, tea (many different kinds), all the kitchen utensils you need on a trip. The bathroom is also equipped with basic hygiene products. As I mentioned about the fireplace and tub, we have access to prepared wood, kindling, and a lighter. If we run out of kindling, the owner will replenish the supply. The interior of the cottage is beautiful. Tastefully finished, with high-quality furniture and appliances. A cozy bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The bedroom also has huge windows, so it was nice to wake up to a beautiful view of the snow-covered surroundings. The owner is very communicative, so it's easy to find out about the area or where to eat. We felt that we could ask her anything we needed to :) We also happened to be there on a day when the owner was baking rolls, so she asked us if we would like some for dinner. A very nice gesture! And in addition to the rolls, we also got some jam :) We recommend it!

We were looking for a unique place to spend a quiet and very important time with our family. Including a small child in the trip, on top of that in December is not as easy as in summer. Wilderness Cottages turned out to be a hit, and on top of that, one of the most beautiful places we've been to. Views that captivate even at this time of year and wildlife at your fingertips. The owners, to what nature offers, have added a soul to the cottages themselves. The place at every step lets you know that it was created by people with love. Refined in every detail to spend time slowing down, with a touch of luxury in the form of a balia and sauna. Clean smelling bedding, and for the toddler a pillow and quilt so cute that it was a pleasure to wrap our son. And Kasia and Luke are over-wonderful people who, in our case, prepared a wonderful Christmas atmosphere and made it possible to spend Christmas Eve in a traditional, yet magical and special way. The number of dishes and the kitchen are fully equipped to prepare delicious dishes. The cottage is warm, and there are games, toys and books for children. As if that wasn't enough, the view outside the window is unbeatable, especially at dawn. Children will also find plenty of outdoor activities. We are already planning to return in the warmer months for longer, to see the green that this wonderful corner will be covered with in the summer, although in winter the starry and warm balmy will probably tempt us more than once :) we could have chosen many places closer to home, but instinct told us that a 5-hour drive is nothing compared to what we will find on the spot ...and we were definitely right :) We recommend with all our hearts and thank you that Kasia and Luke were willing to share this paradise with others :)
