We gave a second life to a yurt that was created at a natural building workshop. We moved it from the vicinity of Łódź to the buffer zone of the Gorce National Park. The plot offers a view of the Tatra Mountains and Lake Czorsztyńskie. The location allows for hiking and biking, it is close to skiing. The project was carried out in the spirit of less waste - the yurt is second-hand, second-hand furnishings (such as an antique closet with Zakopane ornaments from 1937). The round shape of the room, a large window in the roof through which the sun streams in during the day and the moon at night, proximity to nature, silence - these are our advantages. The yurt, which is 35 m2, can accommodate 5 people overnight. You can come with your family or on a date. In the yurt at your disposal are two double beds and one single bed. In addition, you will find a kitchenette where you can easily prepare meals (you have a refrigerator, a stove with 2 burners, an oven, a set of dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, cups, spices, tea, coffee and even hot chocolate) and a bathroom with a shower. We don't have wi-fi or a TV, but there is LTE coverage. The yurt is heated exclusively with a wood-fired goat, which is available on site, while once it's heated up, it's really warm here, so you don't have to worry about getting cold-even in winter! In the area you can buy local products - oscypki, eggs, honey (there is a Bacówka very close to us). What can you do with us? Sit on the terrace with a book and coffee. Meditate and practice yoga. Make friends with our neighbors - the cows. Admire the stars. Warm up by the fireplace in the evenings. And a little further afield? - We have Lake Czorsztyńskie (where you can swim and do all kinds of water sports), Gorce, Tatra Mountains, warm springs, biking trails, beautiful canoeing. - In winter, we love skydiving. When weather conditions allow, we choose the Tatras. We put on skis and walk, for example, to Murowaniec, or down the ski slope to Jaszczurówka. - If you don't mind the number of crowd-scale skiers, it's only 15 minutes away from Kotelnica. Bukowina Tatrzanska is home to the largest ski resort in Poland. - In the summer we hop on our bikes. A scenically beautiful route starts just behind the yurt. It's a district road leading to the Knurowska Pass, then through Ochotnica Dolna and Górna to the Dunajec River, then the Nowy Sącz - Krościenko road back to the yurt.
