Description
Welcome to El Molino – a unique retreat in the heart of the picturesque Waldviertel, where history and nature blend in a truly special way. The lovingly restored Modlisch Mill, over 700 years old, invites you to unwind and recharge amid a sprawling garden and surrounded by unspoiled nature. Enjoy the charm of historic walls and the comfort of modern amenities. The 14 individually designed rooms accommodate up to 29 guests and are ideal for retreats, team-building events, large families, groups of friends, or relaxing getaways. Each room is one of a kind and promises a sense of comfort and well-being – perfect for unwinding after an active day in nature. Cots and a high chair are available for families for an additional fee. Your four-legged companions are also very welcome. The spacious grounds along the Thaya invite you to explore, take walks, and enjoy activities together outdoors. The sunny courtyard, expansive meadows, and cozy shared spaces, such as the SONNENSTRAHL lounge, the entrance area with its seating corners and sofas, and the conservatory, offer room to meet and relax. For sociable evenings, you can rent a barbecue area with a fire pit in the courtyard. The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for active recreation: whether hiking, cycling, or taking trips to nearby attractions, you can experience the Waldviertel at its best. After an eventful day, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen ensure a high level of comfort. Various rooms can be booked for an additional fee upon request. Practical information: Ample free parking is available. Use of the kitchen, seminar rooms, and barbecue area is available for an additional fee. Please note that the local tourist tax will be added to the price. Check-in is in person, and your host will be happy to offer tips and recommendations. Enjoy a getaway at El Molino filled with nature, history, and warmth – a place where memories are made and you can truly unwind. For a long time, El Molino was reserved exclusively for our own seminars. Today, we open it to others too: companies and teams, yoga and seminar groups, families and groups of friends, and anyone looking for a special, welcoming place in nature. Many guests return, and some say exactly what is written on our wall as they leave: Home to yourself.
