We are Jaume and Silvia, a couple of winegrowers from Alt Empordà. We met when we were very young. In 1996, after finishing our studies of Enology and Economics respectively, and Jaume's time at one of the most emblematic French wineries, the prestigious "Châteaux Petrus", we decided to start our own winemaking adventure, starting to produce a few bottles from the small Grenache vineyard that Jaume's grandfather had planted in 1961. Other varieties, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Marsselan ... are part of the 13 hectares that today make up our estate "Masia Serra". It is a project carried out with effort and a lot of dedication, a project that is carried out little by little and with the heart. We feel passion for what we do, and our work is part of our life project. For us it is a pleasure to be able to share it with the people who visit us, as well as our love for the land where we live, the Empordà. We are enthusiastic about enjoying good food, and we are happy to make those who visit us enjoy, making known the products of our territory, always accompanied by our wines. We are lucky to live in the middle of an idyllic landscape, surrounded by vineyards, at the foot of the Albera. From the highest part of the estate, where we have a beautiful hut, you can enjoy views of the entire Empordà plain, and on clear days we can even see a piece of the sea.
