EtnoWarmia is a unique place created out of love for nature, space, and living in harmony with the surrounding environment. On the premises, there is one of the larger permaculture gardens in northeastern Poland. It is here that hand-designed structures and installations are created, giving the entire space a unique character and creating a place full of natural energy, creativity, and closeness to nature. Guests have access to a large green area designated for those traveling with tents and campers. The space has been planned so that everyone can find a quiet spot away from other guests and enjoy privacy and contact with nature. EtnoWarmia also offers two unique accommodation options. The first is an adapted former barn, which has been prepared to accommodate 18 sleeping places. The second is a tipi located in a picturesque gorge, offering 8 sleeping places. Both spaces can also be used for organizing workshops and various events. For an additional fee, guests can enjoy breakfasts prepared using vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers from the garden, as well as regional products. This is a proposal for those who want to experience the flavors of the region while enjoying fresh, local ingredients. Guests have access to basic sanitary facilities. The property features a compost toilet, and in the former barn building, there is a shower with hot water in simple, hostel-like conditions. A new sanitary facility has also been created in the gorge, with two flush toilets and two showers with hot water, which can be used in a wooded setting. Guests also have access to a kitchenette equipped with a gas stove, oven, refrigerator, and a set of basic kitchen utensils. The area around EtnoWarmia encourages active recreation. Nearby, there are cycling and hiking trails leading through picturesque fields and meadows. About 2 kilometers from the property, there is a bathing area by Lake Skolickie, where you can swim among beautiful water lilies. The area also offers good conditions for fishing. The land is located in a protected landscape area, and the valley of the Pasłęka River is part of the Natura 2000 area. In 1970, a nature reserve called Beaver Refuge was established here on the Pasłęka River. One of the cycling routes also follows the path associated with the march of Napoleonic troops. An important part of EtnoWarmia is the permaculture garden, which can be visited and observed, learning about the principles of a self-sufficient and biodiversity-rich ecosystem. The hosts are happy to share their knowledge about permaculture, as well as furniture renovation and old car restoration. In the evenings, there is an opportunity to light a bonfire and spend time outdoors. By prior arrangement, educational workshops related to permaculture, treasure hunts for children and adults, or your own event can also be organized. EtnoWarmia has experience in organizing exhibitions, vernissages, author meetings, and concerts, making the space suitable not only for relaxation but also for meetings and events of various kinds.
