Upper Mountains Chalet - Stable Cottage is one of the magical cottages, located in a pristine clearing high in the mountains at 939 meters above sea level, with a magnificent view of the entire panorama of the Tatra Mountains and Gorce. It's a place where you will experience silence and rest from urban impressions. This is a real mountain settlement, where you will not find streets, cars, only you and nature. Here you will not get by car without drives under the house itself, parking is below the cottage 350 m away. We are like a mountain solitude, located somewhere between mountain peaks, forests and streams. If you love mountains and hiking this is the perfect place for you. We are in the heart of the Gorce Mountains. Our settlement is located directly high in the mountains, so also access to hiking trails is very close. We are surrounded by forests rich in undergrowth, meadows covered with herbs and mountain streams. The close proximity of the Gorce National Park indicates the pure and wild nature of the immediate surroundings. Spotted salamanders live under the very huts. Birdsong awakens us to life, and roe deer and deer walk in the meadow together with horses. In creating our settlement, we made sure that the huts refer to the traditions of the region, but most importantly, they show their own and unusual style. Upper Mountains Chalet - Stable Cottage is a beautiful, large, exclusive house located at the end of our clearing, right next to the pasture with our Hutsul horses Spring, Gale, Pearl and Tatanka. It is 150 meters from our two houses, our private one and a cottage divided into independent apartments for guests. The cottage is surrounded by forest, it is embedded between large beech trees, which grow directly from a large covered terrace. It is a house of more than 150 m2 in size, measuring 12 m long by 5 m wide. It's an ideal place to relax even in a larger group, such as two or more families. It is also an option for intimate celebrations like weddings, workshops or corporate outings. With our additional apartments, it gives the possibility to sleep up to 34 people. The Upper Mountains Chalet - Stable Cottage currently has two traditional bedrooms one is with two 140 x 200 cm beds, has a bathtub and an enclosed toilet. The other is also located on the first floor and has a 160 x 200 cm bed. Next to it is an accessible bathroom with a shower cubicle and a toilet. Also located on the first floor is an open kitchen equipped with a gas hob, oven, refrigerator-freezer and dishwasher. There are utensils like tableware, pots, pans and cafes available. In this area there is a large table and loungers under the large windows overlooking the pasture of our horses, there is also a fireplace. To the glazed floor we go up the stairs, there is a great space for relaxation, rest. There is lounge furniture and a large table for up to 14 people. There are two exits to the veranda, where there is garden furniture, deck chairs. In this glazed space there is also a double sofa bed and a separate mezzanine, which is accessed by a ladder and there is a 140 x 200 cm sleeping mattress and a 90 x 200 cm mattress. The mezzanine is located at the top of the building and has a view of the forest. On the opposite side there is a net suspended at the same height-it is a place to relax, under it is hung a hammock with a beautiful view of the mountains and forests and grazing horses. As of September 13, two additional bedrooms will be available. One with a bathtub and lockable toilet, two beds 140 x 200 cm, sliding balcony doors, with the possibility of going directly outside. The second bedroom with two single beds, with the possibility of putting them together, large opening double balcony doors with the possibility of going outside. The bathroom for it will be accessible from the hallway, equipped with a shower and toilet. The bedroom will be accessible by a staircase from the glass room or accessed from the outside through an additional door and corridor. The Upper Cottage in Ochotnica Górna is located in the Gorce Mountains, mountains where there is a special microclimate, where the air is clean even in winter. Here the world has slowed down and sometimes stopped for good giving nature lovers beautiful hiking trails, often wild, uncrowded. This is a part of the Carpathian Mountains where you can enjoy not only beautiful views of the Tatra Mountains, but also meet wild animals or drink water straight from a mountain stream. In Gorce there are 4 lookout towers to which it is worth walking at any time of the year. Many nature trails, a real mountain shepherd's hut with cultural grazing of sheep. Not far away is the Czorsztyn Reservoir with two locks - Niedzica and Czorsztyn. It's an excellent starting point for sailing, water biking, kayaking or supa. Along the lake runs the picturesque Velo Dunajec bike trail, which connects the Gorce and Pieniny mountain ranges. Staying with us is close also to Beskid Sadecki and even the Tatra Mountains, Zakopane is an hour away by car. In winter you will find ski resorts like Czorsztyn Ski, Białka Tatrzańska, Bukowina and others within 30 minutes. There, thermal springs encourage you to relax after your activities on the slopes. There is many attractions, which we will tell you about on site. We hope you will have a wonderful holiday here. When you book this house, of course, you have access to various attractions like a huge 5.5 by 5.5 meter grid suspended in our forest between the trees, where you can watch birds, squirrels, read a book or play with your family, hide from the sun in the summer in the shade of the big trees. A high-hanging swing overlooking the Tatra Mountains is also available to you - an option for the more adventurous. In the forest there is a tyrolean , "Zipline" for children, even adults sometimes play there. Our biggest attraction is the highest bathing pond in Poland, with a very long slide (36 m) overlooking the Tatra Mountains, and with several piers and a gazebo surrounded by birch trees, where you can take a break from sunbathing in the shade. This is a place for fun, relaxation, here you can practice yoga or other exercises, the pond is more than 30 m long, so there is also somewhere to swim. Its width is 15 m, the depth is up to 2.5 m at the deepest point. It is fed by a mountain stream, the water is pleasant, even up to 22 C. Next to the pond live the goats Beza and Snezka, and the alpacas Gabi and Czoko, who curiously look at you through the fence. Below your cottage is your private fire pit. In winter, our settlement turns into a place like from a fairy tale about the snow queen. Everything is covered with snow-white snow, Guests build an igloo, stick a snowman and slide down our road to the parking lot, which at that time turns into a toboggan, snowboard and ski run. Sometimes when the swimming pond freezes over, we go ice skating. Gorce are beautiful at any time of the year, here even in late autumn is magical and exceptionally beautiful. Remember by choosing our place you move as if to another dimension, where nature gives you all its beauty, where every sunrise and sunset gives you chills, where the dancing mists, the sound of the stream, the forest puts you in a mood of bliss, soothing all your nerves, reaching every part of your body.... The Upper Cottage is an authentic place like few in the region, it is a wild settlement in the midst of nature and only nature, facing the Tatras you do not see any huts here, somewhere far on the horizon you can see the lights of Białka and Bukowina Tatrzańska, at night you can also see the light from Kasprowy Wierch, and at sunset you can see the reflected glow from the roof, the dome of Tatranská Lomnica. The wildness of the Gorce still surprises us all, here you can hear yourself, be in close contact with wildlife, in the Gorne Chata you will make friends forever with Frida, Freja and Bella- Pyrenean Mountain Dogs like from the movie , "Bella and Sebastian", you will certainly love them. If you are lucky you will also meet our cuddly cats Czarek, Luna and Lejla. So here we are all waiting for you to continue creating this piece of paradise on earth.
