With four comfortable bedrooms, a cozy living room with a wood-burning stove and a well-equipped kitchen with a wood-burning cooker, you can experience your time out in an authentic ambience. The property is only heated by a few wood-burning stoves, so that use is limited to the summer months. If you come in cooler times, you should be familiar with the use of wood-burning stoves. The bathroom is located in a historic bathhouse in the garden (10m away). It has hot water for showering, but no heating! The spacious garden with terrace extends over an old orchard to the jetty on the picturesque Kalksee, which invites you to swim and row with very good water quality. A fire bowl and charcoal barbecue are available. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet on the water in the small rowing boat or jump into the clear water from the bathing ladder. A sandpit, highchairs and travel cots are available for families, and the jetty is fenced off for children. The surrounding area offers a variety of opportunities for active recreation: explore the unspoiled nature on hikes around the lake, discover rare animals such as beavers and otters up close or go on bike tours through the Kyritz-Ruppiner Heath.
