La Casa de la Luz is a charming Rural Accommodation located inside the Natural Park of the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas, with 214,000 hectares, the largest in extension of the Iberian Peninsula and one of the largest in Europe. The house is located in Montalvo, a small and picturesque village 9.3 kilometers from the town of Pontones (province of Jaén), situated on the top of a mountain in an environment of privileged nature and landscape, with very interesting walks and hikes. Due to its location, the beauty of the landscape that can be seen from the lodging itself stands out, with a large garden terrace with beautiful views. We are in one of the areas with more contrasting landscapes of the Natural Park, where typical landscapes of the high mountains, lush forests of conifers, oaks and oaks, with large valleys and majestic rocks of whimsical shapes, conglomerate of attractions that make the visit a comforting and healthy experience. Interior (maximum capacity 6 people): - kitchen-dining room with fireplace (it has a mobile grill for barbecue). - living room; bookcase, sofas 3 + 2, coffee table and smart tv samsung 40 " (this dependence also has a bed that is used as a sofa or bed when required). - 3 bedrooms (all bedrooms have closet with drawers, desk with stool and mirror): - a double bed of 135 cm. - a double bed of 135 cm. - a double bed of 135 cms. and an extra single bed of 90 cms. (optional). - 2 bathrooms: 1) large bathroom: 160 cms. bathtub (window with views), washbasin cabinet with drawer unit, another independent washbasin and toilet. 2) small bathroom: bathtub of 140 cms. With screen, sink, bidet and toilet. Outside: The house has a very cool garden-terrace for the summer and with very interesting views. It has a large garden table with wooden armchairs to enjoy the day and night. Observations: * cool accommodation for the summer without air conditioning, with heating for the colder seasons. * it has wifi for internet connection. * pets are allowed on request. Supplements can be applied if considered appropriate. * firewood can be brought or bought at the lodging for 14,00 € per wheelbarrow (normal consumption of one or two days). Surroundings: High mountain area, formed by forests where different types of pine, oak and gall oak intermingle. Typical high mountain landscape with impressive rocky outcrops and steep valleys, privileged landscape environment where you can see interesting panoramic views. The village of Pontones, a few kilometers away, is the nearest town (15 minutes by car). The source of the Segura river is very close to this town. We are located in one of the most virgin places that make up the natural park of Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas, where wildlife is perfectly visible on a daily basis, a place to enjoy nature, to walk and get lost in it in the broadest sense of the expression.
