After 25 years in the world of fashion and hairstyling, I embarked on an extraordinary adventure in Adelaide, Australia, in 2010. I left behind a leading hair salon in Tuscany and collaborations with the most prestigious international beauty brands. During my career in Italy, I had the honor of traveling and presenting hairstyling shows both in Italy and Europe, participating in numerous events, courses, and seminars, accumulating unforgettable experiences. The decision to embrace Australia was driven by the desire to follow Claudia, now my wife and mother of our precious jewels, Liam and Ayla. Claudia contributed to research at the University of Adelaide with excellent results, leading one of the world's most important microbiology laboratories and publishing numerous articles. Meanwhile, I contributed to the success of one of Adelaide's most renowned hair salons, working both in the salon and in our academy, organizing many hair shows and participating in an unforgettable event in Shanghai, China, in front of an audience of about 5,000 people. A unique thrill! After an exceptional 13-year experience abroad, in 2023 we made the decision to return to Italy. It wasn't easy to leave behind our dear friends, our jobs, and even "our" city of Adelaide with its beautiful beaches and enchanting hills. Our motivation was the desire to be closer to our families, allowing our children to grow up in the company of their grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins—in short, with our family. Liam is happy to finally be able to play soccer in Italy, his great passion, and to follow and play for his favorite team, Empoli, while little Ayla will start dance school with her cousins. I was born in Vinci, the birthplace of the great genius Leonardo da Vinci, while Claudia comes from Spoleto, a wonderful town in Umbria. And it is there, in Umbria, that we decided to make my dream come true. Currently, Claudia continues to shine as a researcher at the University of Bologna, while I have finally realized my dream by opening La Casa di LucaPietro, a historic residence in Umbria, near Spoleto, where I have the opportunity to meet new friends from all over the world. Here, I can help my guests by recommending places to visit, restaurants where they can enjoy excellent food and drink good wine. I am passionate about cooking, preparing typical dishes from Umbria and Tuscany, perhaps sharing a drink together. I am always available to answer any questions and provide advice, with the aim of making your vacation a unique and unforgettable experience. This new chapter in my life allows me to enjoy being close to my family and to share the beauty of our country, Italy. I am excited to welcome all my new and old friends and offer them a unique and special stay at 'La Casa di LucaPietro Dimora Storica'. Cheers, Luca.
