Description

On the eastern edge of Podlasie, right on the border with Belarus, lies an unusual place. There you will meet a true wealth of nature in the form of the so-called buffer zone of the Bialowieza Forest, Lake Siemianowka, or the valley of the Narew River. On the outskirts of the village of Nowa Luka, opposite the tiny St. Elias Orthodox Church, in the vicinity of the forest, you will find agritourism Forest 21. It is here that storks and cranes fly overhead, and just beyond the wooden fence wanders a herd of cows, led to graze on the neighboring meadow. Visitors are offered two brand-new, atmospheric and wood-smelling houses separated by a strip of greenery and a fence. Each of them is located on a plot of more than 1000 m2. The houses are one-story. On the first floor there is a living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom that meets all standards and a spacious covered terrace, and on the first floor: two cozy bedrooms. Our place is fenced. The houses can be rented separately. Each house has an area of about 55 m2 and accommodates 6 people. On the first floor there is a folding couch (130 cm x 180 cm). On the first floor - two bedrooms. In one there are two single beds (90 cm x 200 cm each), and in the other - a double bed (160 cm x 200 cm). The covered terrace is as large as 21 m2, in addition, a solid table and benches are available for guests. It's hard to find a better place to eat breakfast and drink your morning coffee! Highlights: - two independent houses, separated by a green belt and a fence - area of the house 55m2, area of each plot 1000m2, terrace area 21m2 - we invite groups of up to 6 people - surroundings of the so-called buffer zone of the Białowieża Forest, a lot of attractions nearby, including Siemianówka Lagoon and the Narew River valley

Cottage very clean, functional and cozy. The kitchen is well equipped. The place will work well for a stay with children - in the backyard there is a swing, trampoline, in the cottage board games, toys, books (including those for more picky readers). The cottage is also a great choice for staying with pets, as the nice surroundings and a relatively short distance from the Siemianowka lagoon encourage long walks. The backyard is tightly fenced, neighbors are unobtrusive, you can count on privacy. It's worth taking a tick repellent with you - the surrounding meadows and forests, unfortunately, are also very fond of them. We highly recommend it!

Cozy cottage very carefully prepared, clean, Host attentive to details. Total privacy away from everything. The cottage is fully equipped, everything works flawlessly to the fireplace and good wood, which does not shoot and does not smoke. Warmly, books and board games and normal TV :))) . I will definitely return.

It all started with French horn workshops in an old cottage in the middle of the forest.... In the summer of 2014, I organized the first edition of French horn workshops in the Białowieża Forest—an instrument I had played for many years and lived and breathed. The plan was simple – we enjoy music, we learn, we make bonfires, we talk – all in beautiful natural surroundings, staying in my grandfather's log cabin. Guests from all over Poland slowly began to arrive. I couldn't help but marvel at their reaction: getting out of their cars at the edge of a birch grove, they eagerly breathed in the scent of the forest, marveling at the silence and the birdsong that stood out against it. They commented: "The forest has THAT SOMETHING!" What is the magic of this ancient forest? Everything here is wilder, more unique, more unusual... I was born and raised in Podlasie, my grandparents lived in Hajnówka, and we spent our holidays and vacations in the forest. Bird songs, fresh air, bison looming in the distance – all this was familiar and obvious. As a teenager, I didn't want to go to the countryside – after all, the internet is weak in the cottage, there's nothing to do, and most of my peers were in the city. A cottage made of hand-hewn logs, insulated with moss from the forest? A wood-fired stove, a wooden barn? A well with a crane? Bathing in the nearby Łutownia River? I had all this at my grandparents' house since I was a child, and it was as normal and obvious to me as hot water from the tap in my apartment. But let's get back to the French horn players. That week-long stay with them in the forest, in a cabin, talking together and watching their delight in the surrounding nature, made me realize one thing – that this place is unique. Shortly after that trip, I offered my grandparents help with their amateur business – renting out the cabin. Creating a website, taking photos, and taking care of the interior of the cabin – things that were foreign to my grandparents, but in which I could fulfill myself artistically – became my responsibilities. And so, after a few months of work, Chatka w lesie (Cabin in the Woods) was created, a place that we have been offering for over 10 years to people who value relaxation in the quiet of the forest. And the horn players returned to our cabin five more times with longing. We quickly reached a point where we could no longer accommodate everyone in the cottage, so we decided to build more houses. This time, we chose the region where my other grandfather came from, namely the area around Siemianówka. Today, we rent out six houses. All of them are created with great heart, dedication, and in the place where we feel best – our family home.
