Description
Leśniczówka u Zięby is a one-of-a-kind place, located in the heart of the picturesque Chocholowska Valley in the Western Tatra Mountains. The wooden building with a soul, decorated in a traditional highlander style, is a refuge for up to 25 guests who seek silence and close contact with nature. It is also an excellent base for lovers of mountain hiking and active recreation. The interiors of the Forest Lodge are a harmonious blend of tradition and unique elements from different parts of the world. Each room is carefully decorated, with soul and history. You will find centuries-old Podhale furniture, hand-woven carpets and Persian kilims brought from Iran, floral prints collected by the family, and items made by local artisans, such as the artist-turned-carpenter Mietek from Koniówka. Oriental fabrics, which have been present in Zakopane interiors for centuries, add a unique character to the space. A real kilim, the smell of wood and a view of the mountains or forest await you in each room. The lodge is surrounded by meadows and fields, which change with the seasons. In spring, the glades of the Chocholowska Valley are covered with a carpet of crocuses, in summer they shimmer with colors, in autumn they resound with the roar of deer, and in winter they become a paradise for cross-country skiing and skydiving enthusiasts. This place is conducive to contemplating nature, active recreation and discovering the secrets of the Tatra Mountains. As Ludwik Zejszner wrote: "in Chocholowska everything is magnificent and enormous; it amazes and infuses you with awe." Come to experience it.
