Miodowa Chata – over 100 years of history, just for you It was not built to look like an old cottage. It really is over 100 years old. It stands in Łapsze Niżne, in Spisz, on a large private plot, between a forest and a meadow. There are no blocks behind the fence or the noise of a hotel. Instead, there is plenty of space, silence, and that pleasant moment when, upon arrival, you realize that you really don’t have to rush anywhere. Miodowa Chata has its own story. Wooden walls, old elements of the house, a tiled stove that remembers other times. But we didn’t want to create a museum here. We wanted it to be possible to simply live in this history. That’s why the old house got a new life and modern comfort. There is a comfortable bathroom with underfloor heating, a well-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, a fireplace, and everything you need to really relax instead of wondering how long you can last without comforts. In the morning, you can step out with a cup of coffee onto the grass. Sit under the trees. Go into the forest without a plan. And in the evening, light the fireplace, stretch out in an armchair, and stay inside a little longer for carefree cuddling with a cup of hot tea. There is also an old apiary on the property. This is where the name Miodowa Chata comes from. Once, my dad was the host of this place - a beekeeper. Today, there are no bees, but the story remains. You can come as a couple, with family, or with a dog. You can head to Pieniny, the Tatra Mountains, or to Lake Czorsztyn, or stay on site for the whole day. And perhaps that’s what it’s all about. To have a place to slow down for a few days. To have silence outside the window. And to feel that you are really outside of everyday life. Welcome Miodowa Chata.
