Gorcówka is a large, 3-story cottage overlooking the Gorce Mountains. It was built in a mountain style, with a sloping roof and a large wooden terrace. On the first floor you'll find a bathroom with a sauna, a spacious living room connected to the kitchen, where you'll find a beautiful traditional-style tiled stove! On the second floor there is a bathroom and a bedroom, from which you will access the balcony. The second floor has two comfortable bedrooms. Gorceka is the perfect place for those who need deep relaxation after a day of hiking or just want a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. In front of the cottage you will find a heated Jacuzzi with whirlpool, which accommodates 4 people. Can you imagine a better end to a day in the mountains than lying in an open-air Jacuzzi? :) Well, maybe also a visit to the infrared sauna - you will find that too in Gorceka. In the cottage you can easily connect to WiFI. You are welcome with pets! ATTRACTIONS IN THE AREA: The cottage is located just 2km from the Koninki Ski Station which is an additional advantage of this place. You can also practice hiking, biking and horseback riding. There are 66.5km of hiking trails, 57.7km for biking, and 58.9km of trails for horseback riding. Paragliding: an excellent place to practice this sport is the Jaworzyna Porębska glade in Koninki, as well as in the neighboring village of Podobin - Spyrkowa Mountain and Witów. These places are known to paragliders from all over Poland. A great attraction is occurring within the boundaries of the village of Poreba Wielka, the Wladyslaw Orkan nature reserve with the character of a primeval forest and the Gorce National Park, which has its headquarters in Poreba Wielka. Gorce Thermal Baths: The thermal pools, surrounded by the picturesque landscape of the Gorce National Park, offer water rich in minerals at a temperature of 37⁰C. The water has positive effects on the body and aids regeneration. It is also helpful for dermatological and rheumatological problems. Astronomical Observatory - Suhora: The highest located facility of its kind in Poland (1000m above sea level). The location was supported by: remoteness from the village, lack of industrial plants nearby, surrounded by forest complexes and exceptional air transparency; it belongs to the world network of 17 facilities observing the movements of the same stars (it is one of two in Europe, the other of this type is located in France).
