Description
It's like this: a country road full of cattails, fallow deer and roe deer run across the meadows, and we are standing between Lake Siecino and Lake Dolgie, in the Drawskie Lake District. Once a sign here indicated Groß Grunow, currently it is Gronowo, and it looks as if time stopped here in the 20 years between the wars. You'll find us near Zlocieniec, which is part of the Drawsko Lake District, so bird radio is playing on high frequencies here. Under a 60-year-old linden tree stands the Settlement nestled in a garden and orchard fragrant with fruit trees. What our land yields is sealed in jars - mushrooms, pumpkins and apples land in weirs. Provisions for cold times. At the end of the orchard you will sneak through a small gate into the nearby forest. Amid the peace and quiet, you can peep at forest animals and listen to the croaking of frogs and the calls of various species of birds. Walk a few steps farther and you will hear the sound of a stream nearby flowing Rakon river. Here we have an old red brick house, and apartments with a fireplace, peace and quiet. You are welcome at any time of the year, because there is no better or worse weather in Gronovo. Only the colors change. It's green, then red and yellow, then white, and finally green again. And so it goes around and around Maciej. For us, it's great. The food tastes better here, we sleep more deliciously, and the people are so simply friendly.
