Having enjoyed a fulfilling teaching career spanning nearly 40 years, I embarked on a new chapter in 2008 when I oversaw the transformation of two traditional Somerset barns into the luxury cottages you see today. My vision was to create an elegant countryside retreat where guests could relax, unwind, and experience the beauty of rural Somerset in comfort and style. Our family farm has been lovingly cared for across four generations, and I feel privileged to share this special corner of Somerset with guests from around the UK and the world. I take great pride in what we have created here, and one of the most rewarding aspects of hosting is meeting people from different walks of life and helping them discover all that the area has to offer. Living on-site, I am always available should you need assistance, while ensuring your stay remains peaceful, private, and relaxing.
