Pod Kątem Ostrym is a fragrant Finnish pine house, Scandinavian style, located in the former Lemko village of Ropki in the Low Beskid. A gravel road leads to the house. The house overlooks the Beskid Niski, with the Main Beskid Trail running nearby. Yes, you think right - we are at the end of the world. We are a stone's throw from the border, while the nearest store is 5 km away. The only neighbor lives on the slope below. Ropki is an old Lemko village, which is reviving again today thanks to immigrant residents full of enthusiasm, initiative, and respect for history. Although there is still a lot of nostalgia here. In spring and autumn, for decades, the redyk, or highlanders pass through here along with thousands of sheep. For many of you, it can be a truly remarkable experience to see these magnificent animals in such numbers right under the windows of your home and hear the sound of hundreds of bells hung around their necks. For that you will not meet too many tourists here. You are also unlikely to count on coverage.... for that we have a TV and great wi-fi, so if you must, you can boldly bring your work to us. Our house has four covered terraces, one on each side of the house. One wall of the house almost all consists of windows and provides soothing views, better than any movie. The house is 120 square meters and can comfortably accommodate 8 people, although even a group of 12 can fit. On the first floor there is a vestibule, a large (35m2) and several meters high living room, with a glass wall, a kitchen, a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, and two bedrooms: - master bedroom with a double bed (180x200), - a bedroom with two single beds (80x200), which can be joined into one double bed, - jacuzzi. On the mezzanine there are two bedrooms, each with two single beds (80x200). In one of the bedrooms the single beds can be folded into a double bed. In addition to the beds, the house is equipped with 2 canoes, two 2-person mattresses and two fold-out 2-person sofas in the living room. The surroundings of the house are actually a clearing. Aside from a hot tub, a fire pit, board games and a library, we don't have many activities here. We decided that close contact with nature and a comfortable home is all you need to relax and get away from everyday life. On the other hand, the surrounding area offers many opportunities, such as: - numerous mountain trails, - forest paths, - mushroom picking expedition, - cross-country and bicycle trails, - cross-country ski trail, - ski lift, - horse stud, - The open-air archaeological museum "Karpacka Troja", Trzcinica, - Glass Heritage Center in Krosno, - St. Michael the Archangel Church in Bieliczna, - Orthodox Church of the Protection of the Mother of God in Hanczowa, - old Spa House Spa, - Klimkovskie Lake, - the market square in Wysowa-Zdroj, where you can buy regional products. Come to us to breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the soothing views!
