Description
At our Smiths Marina you can stay overnight in our atmospheric boat called Statera. Instead of in your own tent, you can spend the night with us on a boat. One in which you can stand, walk, sit at the table. The wind and rain are not terrible on it. If you have never spent the night on a boat and want to see what it's like, if you feel like having a romantic evening for two, or if you want to feel a substitute of aquatic life after the children have gone to sleep - you are welcome. You have the opportunity to live on our Stater. It is a Curtevenne 830 type houseboat built in about 1985. The atmosphere of the Statera and its smell will surely remain in your memories for a long time. Inside there are 4 comfortable berths. An overnight stay on the boat involves a hotel day so that we can prepare it for the next guests. So it is at your disposal from 14:00 on the first day until 11:00 on the last day of your stay. When you spend the night on the boat, you use your own sleeping bags and towels. At your disposal is the entire infrastructure of the Kowale Marina located on land, that is: sanitary facilities (toilets and showers), kitchen (plates, cups, cutlery, refrigerator, kettle, coffee, tea, stove), canopies, grills. Our campground is intimate on weekdays and lively on weekends. We give you the opportunity to be close to nature despite 10 minutes walk from the center of Oborniki and a minute walk to the nearest store. Sanitary facilities and the immediate vicinity of the Warta and Welna rivers are special advantages of our field. You can pitch a tent with us, moor a boat or leave your bike and enjoy lying on the grass in the shade of willows and alders. In 2019, we have introduced night silence, so you can listen to the croaking of frogs and the treble of nightingales from late in the evening. Rent a canoe or raft from us and cruise the Warta or Welna rivers, and when there is more water in the rivers also the Sama, Flint or Samica. Or maybe you'll want to pack your bicycles on the raft and set off on a Warta rafting and biking trip to Stobnica (the one from the castle!)? Less actively? How about taking part in handicraft workshops during which we will burn in wood (pyrography). Or, of course, you can simply laze around or sit by a campfire. There are more and more places for rest or activity, and if you want to take shelter from the rain or sun, go ahead and sit under the available canopies. We will be very pleased if you visit us. NOTE: Statera is undergoing a refresh this year. Her mattresses have received new blue covers. The colors of the deck are returning to the original ones, i.e. browns. Photos will be successively changed and updated. You are welcome!
