Description
Przystań Zagać is a place where time flows more slowly - exactly in rhythm with the current of the Tanew River. You will find us on the very edge of the tiny village of Zagać, at the magical junction of Roztocze and Puszcza Solska. Surrounding us is the wild, protected nature of the Natura 2000 area. At Przystań Zagać, a campsite and camping area awaits you, located about 100 m from the Tanew River. It is peaceful, green, and natural here: about 1 ha of flat, grassy land, some shade under the trees, and a small pond that adds to the atmosphere. This is a place for relaxation in "slow" rhythm: a day on the water or cycling, an evening by the campfire, and a night under the stars. We have prepared infrastructure that allows you to enjoy camping without unnecessary difficulties: 1. An area of about 1 ha designated for pitching tents, parking caravans, or motorhomes. 2. Sanitary facilities (2 showers, 2 toilets, 2 sinks) with hot water from a boiler. 3. A sink for washing dishes. 4. Access to running water. 5. Electricity (included in the price of renting a camping or tent site). 6. Recreational area: - beach volleyball court, - football field, - badminton court, - swings and a play area for children. 6. Gastronomic area: - covered gazebos with large tables and benches, - tables with benches outdoors under the trees, - refrigerators for food, - places with a prepared fire pit for campfires, with a mounted rotating grill and a supply of firewood. 7. Changing room. 8. Access to a sandy beach by the riverbank. 9. Containers for selective waste collection. 10. Free parking. Suggestions for spending free time on-site: 1. Kayaking on the Tanew. We organize group and individual kayaking trips. We offer you several picturesque routes of varying lengths and durations. We can organize multi-day trips. 2. Bicycle tours. We recommend bicycle tours around the area, both on paved and unpaved country roads. You can ride along the river, go to the forest, or take a longer ride on one of the nearby bike trails. 3. Hiking trips. The nearest area consists of agricultural-forestry lands, intersected mostly by unpaved country roads. We particularly recommend hiking along the country road running alongside the river. 4. Swimming in the Tanew River and enjoying relaxation on our riverside beach. 5. The possibility of lighting a campfire, roasting sausages on a stick, or grilling over the fire on the prepared rotating grill. About the Tanew River. Tanew is one of the cleanest rivers in Poland. The valley of the Tanew River is protected under the Natura 2000 program. Tanew creates extremely picturesque bends, islands, and riverbanks. The riverbed of the Tanew is largely wild, unregulated, and covered with lush riverside vegetation. Tanew is ideal for organizing kayaking trips. It is a relatively shallow river, with a slow current. In its middle and lower course, the river is quite wide and usually has a sandy bottom. Tanew has its sources in the southern Roztocze, on the border of the Podkarpackie and Lublin Voivodeships. It then leaves Roztocze and crosses the southern part of the forest complex of Puszcza Solska. It then flows through the southern edge of the Janowskie Forests and empties into the San River in the town of Ulanów. In summer, the average depth of the Tanew is about 50 - 100 cm, which is usually from knee to waist deep.
