Malcaminos is a ranch located in the Tabernas Desert, considered the most arid territory in Europe, with more than 3000 hours of sunshine per year and less than 250 mm of rainfall. The arid landscape of this desert, formed by wadis and canyons is assimilated like 2 drops of water to the arid landscapes of the American Southwest, Middle East and many others, which will make it become the setting for the filming of hundreds of movies and other audiovisual projects since the 50's to date. Characters such as The One-Handed Man, Indiana Jones, Terminator or the Queen of Dragons from Game of Thrones have stepped on this sun-scorched land. The inn we offer is a proposal of simple and comfortable accommodation for anyone who wants to disconnect. We have 2 double rooms and 4 single rooms. Each room has air conditioning/heating, fan, bookshelf, coat rack and has an independent and individual key. The kitchen is equipped as well as the two bathrooms/showers and the terrace. These 3 spaces are shared by all the guests of the inn. The best of the ranch inn: You are in front of the Tabernas Desert. It is a place to enjoy nature, peace and tranquility. It is a space to share with other people who come from different parts of the world and for many different reasons: filming, vacation, time for reflection, work away from the noise of the city.. Malcaminos also offers, all year round, activities related to the desert: 4x4 routes to discover the landscape and 2-hour horseback rides for everyone. In addition, we have: - Special riding packs for experienced riders from 3 hours to 5 days. - Packs of learning to ride for beginners. - We rent parts of the ranch for events and filming. - Activities for family groups or schools. We speak Spanish, French and English in all our activities. For the 2-hour horseback riding tours, there is a German and Dutch speaking instructor service. The ranch is in the desert itself and 2 kms from the village of Tabernas. It is important that you know that you have to be independent. You can walk to the village and have a vehicle. There are not many buses to Tabernas but it is an option to get to us. The bus is from the ALSA company and will drop you off in the town of Tabernas. From there to the ranch, it is about a 20 minute walk. The price of the room includes breakfast which you can serve yourself. The host leaves in the fridge, with your name, a pack of: olive oil, tomato, butter and jam, bread, cereals, 1 pack of milk/est. 2 days and 1 bottle of water/est. 2 days and coffee capsule: 1/pers./day or mocha that you can prepare yourself, tea at will. This pack is only for the use of one room. In addition, there are: yogurts, juices, eggs, pastries, cheese, in self service format. The kitchen is equipped for you to cook. You can bring your pet for an extra 5€/day. You should know that there are horses and dogs on the ranch. The ranch is fenced but there may be animals around, so you will have to be attentive to your pet. We are not responsible for what may happen if the pet is not supervised. On the other hand, the pet will not be allowed to stay alone in the room.
