Vacation home in the heart of the Middle Rhine - Weyer Welcome to our cozy wooden chalet in the picturesque village of Weyer, in the heart of the beautiful Middle Rhine region - a region that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for good reason. Just four kilometers from the Rhine as the crow flies, on the edge of the village and adjacent to the Witbos, you will find our vacation home in a wonderfully wooded and peaceful setting. Here you can walk or cycle for hours without meeting anyone. It is a place where you can take a deep breath, enjoy the silence and nature and simply switch off completely. The chalet exudes a warm, nostalgic atmosphere. The furnishings are simple and a little old-fashioned, but that's what makes it so charming. You'll find characteristic details reminiscent of earlier times everywhere - an old-fashioned record player, cute lamps, grandma's old hairdryer and a few cozy oil lamps. In the living room you can enjoy the warmth of the pallet stove, and for extra relaxation there is a Finnish sauna that can be used by appointment. The house is suitable for a maximum of five people and has two floors, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Surrounding the house is a large, mature garden, ideal for pets, who can run around freely and thus also enjoy a wonderful vacation. From the garden, a small door leads directly into the countryside, from where you can take beautiful walks through the surrounding woods. What makes this place so special is that there is something to do here all year round. Every season has its own charm: - In spring, nature awakens and the hills turn fresh green. - In summer, the Rhine region pulsates with numerous events, terraces and live music. - In autumn, you can enjoy the magnificent autumn colors, the grape harvest and the many wine festivals in atmospheric villages, old cellars or even castles along the Rhine. - And in winter, you can take wonderful walks through the quiet forests or warm up by the stove. A real highlight in the area is the famous Loreley plateau, just a short drive from the house. This iconic vantage point above the Rhine is not only known for its breathtaking panoramas, but also for the many events that take place there throughout the year. Think of the 'Loreley Saga Festival', atmospheric Celtic festivals and concerts by big names in the impressive open-air theater. From rock and pop concerts to medieval markets and cultural festivals, there is always something special to experience here. There is also plenty to experience along the Rhine itself - from the famous "Rhine in Flames" firework shows to sociable carnival parades and local markets. And very close to the vacation home you will even find an ostrich farm with an atmospheric restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal at a friendly price. Whether you are looking for peace, nature, culture or socializing - you will experience something special all year round in our vacation home in Weyer.
