Description
This is a story about our own sanctuary at the end of the world. We discovered it in a small village in the valley of the Knight's Stream, not far from the border with Slovakia. We immediately knew that we would give new life to the old house – full of warmth, comfort, and tranquility, in harmony with nature. The village, once called Radeczka, had its colorful history, full of tales about the Highland robbers. This place even inspired Count Ludwik De Laveaux, who not only acquired this land but also immortalized it in his work "The Highlanders of the Western Carpathians." It's no wonder, as the names of the mountains here sound like fragments of a fairy tale – Praszywka, Bendoszka, Przegibek. Rycerka Górna consists of 61 scattered hamlets, which are spread at the foot and on the slopes of the mountains. The view of them can be admired from the terraces of our house, while relaxing in the jacuzzi or sauna. Inside, there are three comfortable bedrooms waiting for you, and right from the doorstep, you can head out on the trails leading into the mountains. Upon your return, you can warm up by the fireplace and play a game of board games. Perhaps the thought will also return that this is a place worth coming back to.
