At Serene Light Gardens we have been welcoming people from all over the world to this land, offering a space where one can get back in tune with nature. We love to encourage people to see and learn to adopt another way of living that is in harmony with nature. When we bought this land it was pretty barren; no plants, herbs or vegetables. Since then we have created many spaces that now host a diverse range of life. Soil regeneration is at the heart of what we do here, and by implementing permaculture principles, we are transforming this once barren land into a home where great biodiversity can thrive. We have the advantages of being close to the village of Bajamar (with natural pools, nice walks to the Anaga mountains, health food stores, bus stop, cafes, etc.). The only drawback is its proximity to a busy road, but its noise has been covered more and more by the singing of birds attracted by the regenerative process. The other element of permaculture that is present at the center, and which we welcome, is our community. Although we bought this land to approach our vision, it also includes co-creation with beings who align with the basic principles of permaculture and spirituality.
