Description
Can you imagine living in a tent all year round? Hmmm, the idea seems crazy, but as if to explore it a bit, use your imagination and take advantage of a few gains in civilization... A bathroom with hot water, an equipped kitchen, a fireplace radiating warmth on colder days. A comfortable bed, and above you a large tonneau (window) through which you observe the real night sky. Jurta is a luxurious and atmospheric tent located on our 3-hectare habitat in the village of Czerwony Folwark. It is an intimate village in the Wigry National Park, near Lake Wigry and Lake Postaw, through which flows the Black Hancza River. Around the habitat there are fields, space, silence, peace, forest and lake. Regular visitors, depending on the season, are roe deer, foxes, cranes, storks, jays, coarse warblers, pipits, tits, wagtails, goldfinches and many other birds. The habitat has also taken a liking to a pair of ravens that flock around it, cawing at us, as well as three semi-feral cats that have made their home with us. The yurt is 25 sq. m., seated on a round wooden platform. The walls, floor and ceiling of the yurt are well insulated with wood wool. Inside the yurt there is a Siberian stove (a type of goat). The yurt is a year-round facility. Inside there is a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Inside, the only separate space is the bathroom. Glazed entrance and terrace doors, leading to a large, furnished terrace, overlooking the Wigry National Park and the Wigry Monastery. The Amphibian educational path and bicycle trails (including Green Velo and R11) run next to the habitat. Especially for guests, we have prepared on our hill "viewing terrace" with the best view of the area, sunset and Wigry Monastery. You can come in the morning with a cup of coffee and enjoy the view and silence.
