Description
I have always been connected to this place. My grandparents lived in Zalesie Górne, and I spent every summer here — by the ponds and in the forest. On my grandfather's former meadows, together with my partner, we built a house with a huge heart and attention to detail. We wanted our home to be a space for deep relaxation – one where you can slow down and catch your breath. We don’t have close neighbors – the house stands in a meadow, right by the forest. We want to share this goodness with you. Although a few things are still being polished (for which we apologize in advance and ask for your understanding), you can already comfortably spend time here. Stodoła ZaLesie is a modern, very spacious house (300 m²), located in the village of Jesówka, not far from Warsaw, but far enough to truly feel nature and silence. On the ground floor, there are: • 3 bedrooms (bedroom 1 with a double bed and private bathroom, bedroom 2 with a double mattress, bedroom 3 with a double sofa bed) • a spacious living room with a fireplace (approx. 70 m²) along with a fully equipped kitchen On the first floor, there is an open space of about 150 m² with wooden flooring – a place for yoga, exercise, creative work, or simply chilling in your own way. There is also a ping-pong table here, which is a hit! The house is perfect for: • peaceful, unhurried relaxation and a true reset • being together, without haste and plans • workation — when you work remotely and want to change your surroundings • a quick getaway from the city, without a long journey • a vacation with a child, even when you need to work a bit — you are close to Warsaw, but everyday life looks completely different here. During the day, everything flows more calmly here. Morning coffee tastes best when sipped without haste — on the terrace, by the open window, or in the silence of the house. The day can start with a walk to the forest, a moment of yoga upstairs, or simply from lounging on the grass and listening to the birds sing. Time doesn’t demand a plan here — you can work, read a book, cook something good, go for a bike ride, or head to the water. In the evening, the pace slows down even more — on cooler days, it’s nice to light the fireplace, watch a movie, linger over dinner and conversations, and on warmer days, move to the terrace and let the day close itself. At night, just step outside and look at the sky. The stars are really visible here, the silence is deep and soothing. It’s the kind of peace that reminds you how little is needed — and how much small things give: shared time, gratitude for simple everyday life. The surroundings – nature is at your fingertips! The house is right by the forest, next to the Chojnów Landscape Park — one of the largest and most diverse forest complexes around Warsaw. It’s vast areas of forests, meadows, and river valleys, where nature truly takes center stage, and outdoor activities become a natural part of the day. From the house, you step straight into greenery. In a few minutes, you are on forest paths perfect for walking, running, and Nordic walking. For cycling enthusiasts, it’s a true paradise. You can ride recreationally or train seriously (gravel and MTB forest trails) — everything starts practically from the house. Nearby flows the Jeziorka River — calm, winding, and very green. Perfect for lazy kayaking trips, also for beginners and families. There are also ponds in Zalesie and Żabieniec, great for walks, stops by the water, and summer resets. In the season, you can try wakeboarding here, I did! By the ponds, you will find many more attractions, if you are looking for such: a water park open seasonally, a rental of water sports equipment (kayaks/canoes), Wakepark Zalesie, Film District, Planeta Zalesie. Within a short walk, there are also: Cold Pits with an observation tower and forest clearings Nature Reserve Uroczysko Stephana — wild, quiet, perfect for mindful hikes and contact with nature, places created for outdoor yoga, picnics, and forest slow-life, Beaver lodges – a picturesque forest path/walking area, known for observing beavers and contact with nature. In winter, when conditions allow, the area turns into a terrain for cross-country skiing. Our house is a place where you can be active every day or not at all — because just being outside becomes the greatest value. Close to Warsaw, yet with a feeling of being really far away. It’s a space for those who want to be close to nature without giving up comfort, seeking silence, light, and breath, needing a place to rest or do creative work, and want to escape the city without a long journey. Since we love reading and looking at albums dedicated to architecture, art, and photography, you will find a quite pleasant library and a selection of great board games with us! We warmly invite you to join us!
