Szumichatka is a tiny wooden house with a fireplace, sauna, bali, covered with a roof overgrown with vegetation, situated in a forest, right by a mountain stream at the foot of Babia Góra in the picturesque village of Zawoja. Szumichatka was created out of the need to be close to nature and in harmony with nature. We built it from A to Z ourselves. Remember, there is a forest, a stream and mountains nearby, so don't expect mowed lawn and cobblestones. It's supposed to be a little wild, but cozy and practical...It may not be perfect.... it's not a 5 star hotel...that's not the point here:) The cottage will comfortably accommodate 2 adults and two children who like and are not afraid to climb. Children's beds are located on two separate mezzanines at a height of 2m, to which you need to climb a ladder. Due to the small size of the mezzanine, we rather not recommend it for adults. Mezzanines are designed for children 7-13 years old. The sleeping bed is 160x200. It is possible to add a 1 person foam bed. The kitchen is equipped with a two-burner induction stove, electric oven, sink, refrigerator, tableware, cutlery, pots and other necessary kitchen accessories, basic spices, coffee, tea. Bathroom facilities include shower, toilet, sink, large ladder heater, towels, basic hygiene products, hot water is provided by a modern electric boiler. The property has an exclusive use of a sauna and a bale, a fireplace, a barbecue, a gazebo with a canopy. Wood for the fireplace and sauna is included in the reservation price. The use of the loggia requires an agreement and additional fee. The cottage is equipped with swings and hammocks for use outside the cottage in the woods by the stream. The cottage is heated by underfloor electric heating, but if necessary a charming fireplace will warm up even the biggest frostbite. About 150-200 m from the cottage there is a ski slope and a playground. Szumichatka is located on the hiking trail to Babia Gora. In the area there are several restaurants with delicious local food and more, a Zawoja trout farm, or places where you can buy oscypki from Hala Barankowa. Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited on the premises.
