Description
Shumikada is a cozy wooden house, built by the host - Darek, with his own hands, on his family land. It is located on a large plot of land, right on the edge of the Oslawa River which you can see from the house's windows. Right next door are trails and forests. The non-existent village of Balnica and seven picturesque reserves of the Cisna-Wetlinskiy Landscape Park, where we are located. The cottage, with an area of 60m2 will comfortably accommodate 6 people. It consists of: - living room with fireplace, sofa and comfortable armchairs, - kitchenette with gas stove and microwave, - bathroom with shower, - two bedrooms, each with two 1-person beds, - a mezzanine with a large double bed, - a large terrace with table and chairs. We live nearby, but our house is far enough away from the cottage so that we don't get in each other's way. What you can do at our place: - rocking in the hammock and thinking about blue almonds, - reading books on the deckchair in front of the cottage, - walks in the woods, - evening bonfires and barbecues in your own company, - warming up by the fireplace in the living room in autumn and winter. Most likely, however, you will come to us to enjoy the Bieszczady Mountains. And this will be a very correct move, because Shumikada is an excellent base for Bieszczady excursions. What you can visit in the area: - 800 m from our house begins Beggar's Pass, which is an ideal hiking and biking route. - Balnica, which is... a non-existent village (we will gladly tell you its history). - Dushatinsky Lakes, green landslide lakes hidden in the forest. Rare plant species grow here: floating pondweed and branch horsetail. - Through the area of the reserve runs the main Beskid Trail (Komańcza - Prełuki - Duszatin - Zwiezło nature reserve - Chryszczata). - Bieszczady Forest Railway - Sine Wiry nature reserve - Numerous trails lead from Cisna, located near us, to the Poloniny Mountains. Here we have Połonina Wetlinska with the culmination of Roh (1255 m), Smerek (1222 m), Jaslo (1153 m) or Lopiennik (1069 m). - The Chryszczata Homestead in Smolnik hosts concerts Come and visit!
