Access to the property is only possible by off-road vehicle. There is no possibility to reach it by your own vehicle. The toilet is inside! We provide transfer to the location – it is done in our off-road vehicle and is additionally charged: 280 PLN (round trip, about 40 minutes of off-road driving). Alternatively, it is possible to walk, depending on the guests' decision. The walking route from Waksmund to the shepherd's hut takes about 2–3 hours. The route starts at ul. Nowotarska 154 in Waksmund and leads deep into the Gorce Mountains – to an altitude of about 1000 m above sea level. The Terenówka Bacówka is a unique place located in the heart of the Gorce Mountains, at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level. Surrounded by a hectare of meadows and forests, the shepherd's hut offers a unique opportunity to fully immerse yourself in nature and admire breathtaking views of the mountain landscapes. The history of this place dates back to pre-war times – it was originally a barn that over the years transformed into a family holiday home, full of tradition and memories. Today, the shepherd's hut delights with its authentic, highlander atmosphere while providing comfortable accommodation conditions. Guests have access to a cozy living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, and a bedroom. On cooler evenings, you can warm up by the fire, and in the summer, enjoy meals outdoors in the external relaxation area.
