THE TREE HOUSE In the arms of an old centenary carob tree rests like a bird, our "highest" singular lodging, the Tree House, any child's dream come true. It sways in the north wind and the starry skies can be seen from it. The tree house is two cabins of 9m2, each very well used. The first space is the bedroom with bathroom above the tree, where you will find a double bed that is a large chest to leave the luggage, also two single bunk beds and a closet, a bathroom with shower, sink, toilet and a minibar fridge. The second space is the kitchen-dining room. It is located under the tree and has a gas stove, fridge, hob, microwave, wood stove and at the back of the cabin a barbecue area. The lodge has an outdoor swimming pool. It is not heated, so it will only be open during the summer season, from June 1st to September 30th. OUTDOORS - With an outdoor terrace of 10m2 with a table, chairs and hammocks. At night, from the terrace, you can enjoy the stars (weather conditions permitting), thanks to the zero light pollution of our location. - Barbecue area with free firewood. - Organic vegetable garden. - Swimming pool. - Animal farm. ACTIVITIES - Getting to know the nature of the Maestrat In our space you will know many of the native species of vegetation of the Maestrat and the Mediterranean climate. - Hiking The area where we are located has several routes for hiking where you can enjoy ancient olive trees or natural parks such as the Serra d'Irta. - Route of the millenary olive trees You will enjoy the majesty of these natural "monuments" that are the ancient olive trees. - Cycling and mountain biking From our location you can practice both road cycling on roads in very good condition and with little traffic. Many nearby towns have marked routes for mountain biking where you can enjoy the harsh terrain and wonderful scenery of the Maestrat. - Wonderful Beaches A few kilometers from Tierra de Arte you will find some of the best beaches of Levante, such as Peñiscola, Alcossebre, or a little further away Oropesa. - Activities in our farm Children and adults can visit our farm for free, feed the animals and do the daily chores with us. We are Abe, Sonia and Marc, a family that has decided to develop their life project in the countryside, in love with nature. Our project is called Tierra de Arte and is located in the middle of a forest of monumental and millenary olive trees among carob, almond, fig and kermes oak trees. As Gonzalo Puerto said "...lands of the Maestrat covered with splendor and full of prowess of the past, bewitched and kind, singular without more..." We like to work with our own hands, Abe is a craftsman by profession who loves working with noble materials such as wood, stone and iron. No material can resist to be transformed by his hands. Hands that with dedication and love are building and restoring the cabins and gardens that you will discover in our space. Details such as burying the entire electrical installation so that the cables do not cloud our aesthetic enjoyment of the property are the order of the day. A singular space where every corner is unique. Sonia is a plastic artist who paints and decorates our family project with her paintings, sculptures and murals, giving a personal touch to each space. And Marc is the little boy of the house who follows in his father's footsteps wherever he goes, Marc follows him and helps him with his good hands; developing his father's ingenuity. Tierra de Arte is a project that came from the simple idea of building a tree house for Marc. What child doesn't dream of having a tree house? So, while we were building the tree cabin, the project began to take shape and what was to be a cabin for a child became a cabin for the family and, why not... to rent... why not let other people enjoy it? So Tierra de Arte was born, where a cabin in the tree became a circus wagon and a giant barrel...and the ideas kept coming and the project grew. So there came a point where we had to name our project, to define it. Thanks to our gifts for construction, decoration and restoration we decided that the uniqueness of each space and its artistic character united the whole project. We decided that our artistic project and our love for the land defined us as Tierra de Arte. And as our slogan says: if you want to get out of a standard world come and meet us!
