Welcome to our forest house ‘Photographie’ – your retreat in the nature of the Hunsrück-Hochwald in the Vorderes Ruwertal near Trier! Here, on a plateau surrounded by forests that are decades old and the gentle hills of former vineyards, you’ll experience a unique blend of comfort, sustainability, and inspiring tranquility. The lovingly designed house offers space for up to four guests across two floors. Large panoramic windows bring the forest right into the living room, while the fireplace provides cozy warmth on chilly evenings. The open, fully equipped kitchen invites you to enjoy cooking together, and contemporary photographs add stylish touches to the minimalist interior. Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious bedroom with a comfortable double bed, as well as a separate area with bunk beds – ideal for families or friends. Enjoy your time outdoors: On the covered terrace, you can barbecue, read, or simply take in the stillness of the forest. The fully fenced garden offers plenty of space for children to play and adults to relax. The Ruwer-Hochwald cycle path and the Saar-Hunsrück Trail run directly below the forest house – perfect starting points for hikes, bike rides, or relaxing walks in nature. The forest house is committed to sustainability: Electricity and heating come from renewable energy sources, and the water comes from a nearby spring and is of excellent drinking-water quality. A high chair and children’s tableware are available for families. Wi-Fi also makes it possible to work surrounded by greenery. Practical: The supermarket, bakery, and pharmacy are just two kilometers away. The region is known for its warm hospitality, excellent wines, and numerous excursion options – including historic Trier with its World Heritage Sites, just 12 km away.
