Description
After dozens of trips I've taken around the world and several years of running a successful apartment rental startup, a dream has germinated in me. Homes on water. In 2020, a prototype was created. As of 2022, I am very excited to invite you to my Homes on Water 2.0! Water Hideouts, or Water Hideouts, are located in a densely forested and naturally beautiful region. You will be resting in 2 cottages, located side by side, on the waters of Nowowiejskie Lake. The Water Hideaways are moored to one of the piers extending into the lake. The whole area is 2600 sq. m, including a patch of private forest, which effectively fences the houses from the world. You can feel like you're in a real hideaway here, as even from the roof you can only see nature. Architect Marek Pawlowski made sure that the houses blend in with their surroundings and interfere as little as possible with the natural space found here. Happy residents can sink into the soothing sounds of nature and experience relaxation at its best. There are 2 cottages at your disposal: 1 cottage on the water is 54 sqm, consisting of: - two bedrooms with double beds and large closets, both of which have access to the terrace, one has a work area, the other has direct access to the bathroom, - a bathroom with a shower, which also has access to the terrace, - kitchen and dining room connected to the living room, which has a screen and projector. The white and gray interior is complemented by oak finishes. the 2nd bungalow on the water is 30 m², consisting of: - one bedroom with a double bed - a bathroom with a shower - a kitchen connected to the living room, which includes a sofa bed The interior, in subdued earth colors and with large windows, allows you to immerse yourself in the surrounding nature. The glass walls of the living rooms allow you to take in to the maximum what is most precious here - views of the beautiful nature. The entire living space is surrounded by a terrace, where hammocks and armchairs hang. Wooden pergolas are wrapped with tall reeds. The views here are breathtaking. When you allow yourself a moment of silence, you will see rare specimens of wild birds (kingfishers, gray herons, tawny owls, scales and cormorants) and aquatic animals, including ducks and beavers. One of the houses on the water is equipped with a screen and projector. You can also use water equipment. Exploring the area by kayak or SUP is a lot of fun. I encourage you to take walks in the surrounding forests (you can see deer, roe deer, wild boar) and villages, where local life goes on with a peaceful rhythm. You'll find a spacious terrace on the roof of the Water Hideaway. From here the view of the lake is really pleasant. There are couches, a large table and a grill. It's a great place for yoga, workout, board games and dancing. On land there is a garden area with a fire pit. We took care of the atmospheric lighting. There is nothing more enjoyable on warmer evenings than feasting by the fire, eating meals together outdoors and partying under the stars. ABOUT Wodna Kryjówka is located in the municipality of Zbąszyń, next to which the Polish-German border once ran. Today it is the border of the Wielkopolska and Lubuskie provinces. These regions are famous, among other things, for their dense forest, the land of 100 lakes and... wine traditions! Of the local wineries, I particularly recommend the Old Wine Mountain in Cigacice. One of the nearby towns worth seeing is Wolsztyn (20 minutes by car). There you can visit the Steam Locomotive Museum, the Open Air Museum of Folk Architecture and a charming walking path around the lake. In Lagow, on the other hand, there is a beautiful castle of the Knights of St. John. I encourage you to visit the Strong Lavender plantation, where, in addition to fabulous views, you can buy everything that can be made from this plant. The Pszczew manor offers, among other things, a spa area, a café, a wine bar, horseback riding and amphibious rides. Great restaurants include the Taberska Inn and Kolesin Manor.
