Description
ALVARIUM Vineyard is an organic enotourism farm run by the Biniarz family in the village of Ostaszow, in the heart of the Przemkow Landscape Park and the nearby Dalkow Hills. The vineyard currently covers almost 2 hectares, and the varieties we grow are: Regent, Rondo, Solaris, Johanniter, Reiesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris and Zweigelt. Alvarium is Latin for "apiary" or "hive." Our name refers to the multi-generational family tradition of producing natural bee honey. Importantly, in both honey and wine production we rely on traditional methods and do not use artificial additives. We adhere to the principle that we also create for ourselves, and we want to eat and drink only the best, so we use only natural methods and means to fertilize and protect the vines. We invite guests to visit the vineyard and winery in Ostaszow combined with a tasting of the wines we produce supplemented by stories about wine and winemaking. It is also possible to participate in workshops on work in the vineyard, as well as harvesting and processing of fruit. On site, in addition to our wines, you can purchase honey from our own apiary, as well as herbs and lavender ornaments. In the summer season, a great idea for a weekend with wine is a night at our winery in a tent or camper, an evening by the fire, and during the daytime, peeping at nature in the nearby nature reserve Przemkowskie Ponds. Guests are welcome to tour the winery and enjoy tastings in groups of up to 10 people by telephone appointment.
