Camping Castle Podewils

Despite reading all the reviews, including the bad ones, we decided to go anyway. The place has its charm. We were at the campsite. The view of the lake, a large number of benches around the lake with a beautiful view. The facility itself is beautiful. (We didn't stay in the castle/hotel, so I won't comment on that.) The lady (I assume she is the owner) was very nice. I also exchanged a few words with the gentleman who works there. A very pleasant man. The sanitary facilities were clean and regularly cleaned. All guests really behave quietly, or maybe it's the large space, I don't know, but it is really quiet and peaceful. The only small downside of our stay was the neighbor behind the wall, who decided to mow the grass with a gas mower from 5 PM to 9 PM accompanied by his little dog, and after 11 PM some drunk fellow decided to listen to music from his phone under the castle wall where we were set up. I guess he had to sit down for a moment or something. (Dude, if you're reading this, it's cool, but people have already invented something called headphones.) As for the man mowing the grass, I understand because people have the right to work on their property, and it's not the owner's fault, and no one will be responsible for other drunk people. All in all, the stay was successful. We were not charged any additional extra fees, and I don't blame them for charging an extra fee for the awning, seeing how the Germans who were resting by the lake set up practically two spots with their awning. We were set up with a rooftop tent on a passenger car.
