Podewils Castle Camping is located in the park next to the 15th century Knights' Castle. It occupies an area of 2.5 hectares directly around the castle and is fenced by a historic wall. It is adjacent to the Grabova River and Castle Lake, which gives guests great comfort and allows them to choose the best camping spot for them. You can set up your tent, camper or trailer next to the beach and swimming area with a pier, or hide in the shade of the trees. Very friendly staff, quick and efficient reception. The view is beautiful. Rather intimate, which for us is a big plus-we do not like crowds. A lot of people from abroad, but most rather trouble-free. From the side of the staff zero problems, even when the dog barked, so I can say that the place is dog-friendly.

A perfect place for those looking for an escape from the daily hustle and bustle. You can spend a lazy day strolling around the Castle Lake (the Polanów Forestry Division's nature trail), fishing (I'm not sure if there are fish) or total "doing nothing" with a book in hand. The castle restaurant serves delicious food. The whole resort was exceptionally quiet, despite the fact that the castle hotel was full of guests. I don't know if we just happened to run into cultured fellow campers and lovers of silence, birdsong and the croaking of frogs similar to us, or if it's written in the campground's rules and regulations (we didn't read them), but no one disturbed others in their comfort zone or imposed their love of disco polo music. Only one toilet with a shower was available for campers, but there was no problem with accessibility - cleanliness was impeccable. On the day we left the campsite another bathroom was put into operation.
